    TV went completely black less than 60 days from purchase. Purchased 5 year warranty. Best Buy has me going through Samsung for repair despite the extra $600 plan purchase. Earliest appointment is one week out. I can update my review if they repair without issue. Online research shows known power supply issue. I expected more from a TV of this price. Before the screen went black, it looked great with movies. Adjusted settings to help with visible judder and motion blur but still not very good with sports.

    Absolutely the best TV I ever bought. The picture is amazing, and I would buy the samsung 990D 11.1.4ch sound bar as well. Having them both together is definitely worth the money.

    Purchased this Samsung QN83S90DAEXZA and the TV failed electrically just weeks after the 12-month warranty expired. This appears to be a documented defect that has occurred in multiple other units of the same model. I reached out to Best Buy for a goodwill repair or replacement, given the timing and widespread nature of the issue, but they refused to extend support beyond the standard warranty. For a premium TV at this price, this is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I cannot recommend this model or rely on the manufacturer or retailer to stand behind it when it fails prematurely.

    The tv screen was warped when i got it out o the box. Best buy customer service was unbelievably helpful n setting up an exchange tv to be delivered. I wont even have to goto the store. Best buy will deliver the new tv and take the damaged one. Coulmt ask for better service.

    Other than basically needing a doctoral degree to set it up (no instructions come with it, and online manuals were basically useless), it does have a really good picture. Terrible glare though.

To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your TV and remote, you can download the S90D TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under Support (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can search for and select the S90D TV to download the guides you would like.

      The e-Manual and Remote Guide are both also embedded into your TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support

      Please know that your TV is engineered with Anti-Glare Technology designed to minimize ambient light reflections. We understand that light conditions of each room environment are different. For optimal glare control, we recommend repositioning the TV to minimize incident light falling on the screen or consulting a professional installer.

    Only have had it for a few weeks now and its been great sobfar. Unfortunately it had to replace and 85” 8k that stopped working. Not a bad replacement and condition was great for an open box unit. Geeksquad was stellar with installation.
