Samsung is subpar in Tv technology and the customer service department. Customer service is a complete waste of time, completely useless. This TV broke exactly 3 months after the 1-year warranty expired. Almost like it was made to break after the warranty expires so you have to buy a new Tv yearly like getting a new iPhone every year..

Don't Buy This Samsung Model Class 8000

Sound was so weak that I had to turn up the volume to 80 out of 100. Do not buy this Samsung model.

85” build quality may have flaws

It has been sitting waiting for the mount. I did notice the rear of the bezel looks to have popped out or a plastic clip broke so rear bezel on each side is starting to open. Screen itself and tv work great so far. Hopefully remains to be a cosmetic only flaw.

I was very excited to get it and it worked fine at first, then one day I turned it on and noticed the dark area. I'm past my return date according to the Best Buy app, but I would think there would be someone I can talk to about a malfunction on a BRAND NEW television.

We are sorry to hear about your TU7000 TV having a dark area on the screen. We are here to help, and I have a few troubleshooting tips that should help.
First, let's make sure your firmware is up to date. To do so, head to Settings > Support > Software Update. From there, you can easily update if needed.
Next, 1. Run a Picture Test on the TV.
Navigate to Settings, select Device Care, and then select Self Diagnosis. Select Picture Test, select OK and then view the test. You can choose Yes if the picture looks normal, No if there is a problem with the picture, or Show again to see the image a second time.
2. Determine if the dark areas are appearing during the Picture Test.
Look for a issues on the screen during the Picture Test. If there are no issues, this means your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, first, try replacing the cable of the external device that is showing dark spots.
- If the dark spots still appear after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device.
- If dark spots appear during the Picture Test, proceed to the next step.
3. Request service if dark spots appear during the Picture Test.
If you see dark spots during the Picture Test, please visit our Support Center to request service. When calling, ensure you have the TV's model code, software version, and serial number. Samsung 85 tv

Was told through samsung that i would need to update the software yet it showed up to daye in the settings. So have to buy a glash drive download, and than plug it in tv. Crap, you wpuld think this would alreasy be done since it was brand new!!!

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the issues you are experiencing when using voice control. To use this function, the TV must be connected to the internet. Go to Settings > General > Voice > Voice Assistant to select which Voice Assistant you would like to help control your TV (Bixby, Amazon Alexa, or Google Assistant)
To use the Voice Assistant, follow the instructions on the TV screen to enable the selected Voice Assistant. To enable the Settings menus for each Voice Assistant, log into each Voice Assistant.
To run your selected Voice Assistant, press and hold the button, say a command, and then release the button to run Voice Assistant. The Samsung Smart Remote may not recognize your voice when it is far away from you, turned upside down, or located in an environment with loud ambient noise.
If you have already set up your Voice Assistant, your issue might be with your remote. Try pairing the remote control with the TV:
1) Long press the RETURN key and ENTER key together for about 10 seconds.
2) The RETURN key is on the left side of your remote and looks like a curved, backwards pointing arrow.
3) The ENTER key is the button in the center of your directional ring.

Thank you for your purchase and review of the AU8000 TV. Please know we are here to help you, and there are a few settings that may address your image preferences.
For darker scenes, I recommend using Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic.
Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings.
You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

The only thing I don’t like is the volume. It has to be turned up to 30-40 for normal listening. That’s way too many numbers to go through. But other than that, it basically sets up itself!
