    If you looking for cheap but decend brand. Not a bad buy if you just want to use it for apps like youtube, netflix, etc... Gaming not be as great as 60Hz but playable if u dont care about refresh rate...I did not care about multiple features on TV like a optica, multiple HDmi, etc...Would have been 5 star for the price and my usage need if it is not Tizen OS.. The OS is garbage had to buy 4k google TV.. I was going to return it but the Google TV made me keep it.

    Cant complain when its 699 ! Look up on youtube best picture settings for this tv and will look great connect Ethernet so it runs smooth and connect your sound bar to it and enjoy if you want better sound top of the line picture quality then dont pay the 699 pay the 1k and up

    The quality on the Samsung tv is the best. The value along with the 85" clear picture is absolutely great

    I should have seen the red flag , a samsung tv for for grand and on sale for 699.00 ya because they cant sell them picture is trash , sound trash, functionality trash only two hdmi slots remote trash! Dont waste your money ! Now I have to take my TV down and take it back!! Smh I’m disappointed in you Samsung!

    Big gorgeous tv, little price tag.

    It is a great tv for the money, just get a sound bar to go with it the built in tv speakers are mediocre the legs have multiple positions to install them if you have a smaller surface to set your tv on the smart tv operating system works great as well easy streaming and easy set up.

    I have purchased insignia tv’s before and two have went out on me within 2 years. So I thought of trying a different brand. This TV has a great picture but the speakers are trash like horrible for the size of the TV. I have had it for 2 days and it keeps disconnecting from WiFi and or freezes and have to reload. it will do this while watching something and you have to go back in the app to restart it. So far I’m not loving it. Hopefully there’s a way to exchange it.

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding the DU6950 TV’s sound quality. We recommend adjusting the Sound Settings to improve your experience. You can change the Sound Mode by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode.

      You can also customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings.

      For optimal performance, we ask that you please ensure you've got the latest firmware version installed on your TV. You can check this by going to Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

      You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

    Its evident where Samsung cut corners to be competitive with entry level brands… I could work around 2 hdmi ports, but no optical out????? Ill be ordering the TCL instead.

      The DU6950 TV offers 2 HDMI ports and is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capable, allowing a seamless connection across multiple devices at a time. If your external device requires an Optical port, we recommend utilizing an HDMI to Optical Converter. These can be found at your local electronics store. Please also keep in mind that an Optical port can be found on our DU8000F Series and above.
