The tv is great but unfortunately the display setup at best buy is a little misleading as they have theirs mounted at a 99 degree vertical and the actual stands it comes with it leans back a few degrees which for people with a setup like mine will be inconvenient. I'm fixing the problem with a wall mount but I admit I'm very unhappy that I had to spend an extra 350$ on a wall mount due to a misleading advertisment piece.

This TV was incredibly nice for less than 2 years before the display stopped working. I previously had a 55 inch Samsung TV for 7 years that I’m still using to this day. The quality was amazing so I shelled out for this premium TV with a very large display. It was everything I hoped for until some of the display shockingly died from normal use. Samsung’s quality is truly going significantly down when their premium products are only lasting until the manufacturer warranty ends. Don’t waste your money like I did, avoid this TV and Samsung. Their quality is no longer there.

ShariahD,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Q70A TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 3) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 4) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings to manually fine tune your image.
For further assistance with settings adjustments, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link for: • LiveChat • Manuals, Software, & Warranty Info

Had a hard time connecting to the Internet and kept buffering. I had to buy a $200 Internet extender and it still buffers, but not as long. The technician said he thought the problem is my internet provider.

JWCB,
Thank you for choosing Samsung's Q70A TV and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the buffering you are experiencing. Buffering when watching videos online is related to your internet speed. Buffering may occur on your Samsung Smart TV while streaming video content over the internet. Buffering usually occurs when your internet connection provided by your ISP cannot supply data fast enough for the playback device.
We suggest you try the following: 1) Use 5G Wi-Fi if possible 2) Try wired LAN if available 3) Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router 4) Please be sure you have the latest firmware update which enhances network connectivity.
If your issue persists, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST M-F (9AM – 6PM EST Sat). Or text HELP to 62913.

DennisC,
Thank you for your review of Samsung’s Q70A TV. I'm sorry to hear of the screen abnormalities you're noticing. Please run a Picture Test to determine if the problem is caused by the TV. Picture Test displays a high-definition picture you can examine for flaws or faults. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test
If this occurs on all sources and the picture test and your TV is out of the 1-year Manufacturer's Warranty, you can locate a service center in your area by following this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/
Should you have further questions, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat with an agent as well as manuals, software, and warranty info can be found at the ‘Support’ link on our Samsung website.

I've owned many Samsung TVs over the years; I still have a flatscreen Samsung from roughly 14 years ago that still works great. My Sony Bravia quit on me, so I decided to buy the Samsung 85" Q70A QLED 4K UHD and also a 65" of the same make and model. These TVs DO NOT UPSET. They are crystal clear, have a great refresh, and along with my home surround audio create an awesome theater environment. The only drawback is they are edgelit and not fully backlit, but I can't tell the difference. Would buy again!
