We bought the Samsung 85” Class Q80D Series QLED 4K TV for our living room, and wow… this thing is a beast in the best way. My husband plays Call of Duty on it and the picture quality is unreal — crisp detail, deep blacks, vibrant colors, and zero lag. It makes the game feel like it’s happening right in the room. The sound is clean, the brightness is on point even in daylight, and the size alone makes everything feel cinematic. Movies look gorgeous, gaming is smooth as butter, and the setup was super simple. If you’re looking for a massive screen with stunning quality and performance, this one is absolutely worth it. Although the pics do it no justice & it looks smaller in photos, this 85” in huge. We’re obsessed.

Upgraded from a 65” that was over 10 years old to this and what an amazing difference. This is absolutely stunning. And gives me updates on all my connected Samsung products in the house like washer/dryer. Feels like im in a smart house at this point.

The 85 inch TV fits this extra large room well. The picture is clear and the sound is amazing! I almost feel like I'm watching my shows in a theater on the 2024 TV. I had Best Buy install the TV on the wall. They did a great job.

The image is sharp and the blacks are deep. The viewing angles are very accommodating. Sound quality is great with Qsymphony. Paired with a Q990-D.

The deal (retail vs. sale price) at Best Buy was great, but to be honest I'm still on the fence about the TV. My previous TV had no problem with ARC audio from cable box to TV to soundbar, but this TV cuts out for about 3 seconds EVERY TIME the channel is changed. Also, when it first comes on, it seems to 'default' to TV sound (loud) for a few seconds before the ARC audio catches up. The picture is good, but I wouldn't call it great. I'm not sure if the input from cable box or just jitters from the TV. I haven't messed around with streaming much yet, so I'll update my review if things improve on that end. I'm still playing around with settings, too. I tried to 'Auto Picture' and it seems to work well sometimes and not so well at others, even when lighting has been fairly consistent. Maybe I'm just too picky, but I expected more from what was originally a >$2K TV. Overall, if you can get this TV on sale I would recommend it, but I'm glad I didn't pay full price.

Pulled the trigger on a new tv being my last one was A 55 from 2016. No reason to upgrade over the 55 Samsung it was still working just fine but wanted to experience a bigger screen with updated tech. This being a last year model they had a sale on it as last in stock. I did some research prior to buying and picked this one out of a few other models and been happier since. Good to watch a game or a movie, love how immersive the screen is. Great buy would buy again. 10/10.

This tv is awesome. The screen is beautiful and extremely crisp. The colors are bold and the smart tv interface is easy to navigate. 85” is almost laughably huge, but if it fits your space, it’s definitely worth it. I also love that the remote is rechargeable (and can be solar recharged), I just wish it didn’t have the dedicated app buttons—since I don’t use a couple of those services. Assembly was easy (as it can be for a tv this size). Definitely happy with this purchase.

Good picture and easy use of functions. Upgrade from 75 Q80D to the 85 Q80D. Make sure to spend the extra money and get the extended in home warranty for peace of mind . You do not want to deal with messing with this monster size tv if there might be an issue.

This tv is one of the best ones around. It has all the hookups, inputs, smart devices, and apps you could want. The picture is bright and crystal clear. Audio is pretty good too but a sound bar hooks right up to it and makes it that much better.
