I was in the market for a New TV and have been waiting for the 2023 Black Friday sales to kick in. I originally was planning to buy a 85" 2023 TCL QM8 for $2000 but I saw the 85" 2022 QN800B on an Early Black Friday sale for $2500 and decided to up my budget. I had read that the TCL QM8's were facing a considerable amount of Quality Control Issues through reading several other customer reviews and didn't want to take a chance with such a heavy sucker of a tv and being forced to return if I got a bad panel. I am so, so, so happy I chose this instead. This TV is fantastic and it is virtually the same as this year's QN800C which is going for $4000 during Black Friday. This TV is an absolute steal when you consider that it's MSRP in 2022 was $6500. Holy cow. The 8K upscaling is AWESOME! It really is fantastic. I was really worried that this TV would underperform because it lacked Dolby Vision, but honestly the AI image procesing algorithm is so intuitive that it completely offsets Samsung's Lack of Dolby Vision. It's very bright, has great punchy images, and is plenty bright during the day and at night. The Tizen OS is very snappy and I love that this works with my household appliances which all happen to be Samsung and connected to the Smartthings Eco-System i.e. when my dryer and microwave stop, it alerts me that they finished cooking and drying. Awesome. This is a huge step from the TV I've been using since 2016 - which was a 48" Samsung TV. If you are installing this by yourself, you definitely need two people who can at least carry 50 lbs each for the left and right side lifting. I had to do this with my father and I'm a fairly strong male in my early 30's. Installing the base of the TV was actually relativly easy because of Samsung's Box Design - another kudos step to Samsung's Engineers! There are YouTube videos that will walk you through on how to unbox it. The packaging was done excellently and creatively. Finally, Bestbuy delivery was super quick - I ordered it and it arrived 3 days later. They gave room of choice delivery and put it in our living room. Good service. Buy with confidence before they run out of stock!

I originally purchased the 75 in qn900b 8k but had some issues with the internet disconnecting. I ended up returning that one and bought the qn800b in 85in. All i can say is wow this TV is bright great for a bright room, it seems to have just as good of a picture but was the same price for 10 inches bigger. The blacks on this Tv are great and the one connect box is definitely a plus. If you are on the fence between 75 or 85 just get the 85 it is well worth it. This tv seems very well built with a metal vented frame all the way around. For gaming its great, 4 hdmi 2.1 connections. Bottom line buy this TV with the Bestbuy total membership that will give you the best price and the 2 yr warranty you will not be disappointed.

I just bought this 85in TV during Thanksgiving in 2023. Colors are amazing, interface is super friendly, thin modern appearance. We mounted it on the wall and it took 3 adults to install it. Sound is great as well, although a separate sound bar will abosultely make it sound better. Xbox game pass works smoothly with my Xbox One controller. I would 100% recommend this TV! So worth its value, and even more with the Thanksgiving deals on it ($2500 USD).

Beautiful Picture, Easy set up, Remote is simple perfect navigation (solar and usb charge) I feel so good about my purchase $2,700 something total with tax. Keep in mind protection clear film on TV is still on because wanted to make sure wall mount height was perfect. Pictures do not do it Justice! I satisfied with volume if you like thunder , Base well then you may need a sound Bar but I don't think I need it.

The picture is absolutely beautiful, The setup was extremely extremely easy and user friendly. You are able to sit anywhere in the room and see a beautiful picture. The sound is awesome that is built-in along the edges on the left and the right side of the set as well as the rear for the Dolby Atmos sound system. Absolutely felt it is worth the price the beautiful size clarity brightness sharpness it's awesome you will not be disappointed. Samsung hit it out of the park with this one, and I'm happy to have caught it in the parking lot!!!

This TV truly has the best picture I have ever had on any television. The pics do not do the TV justice. Some shows from the 50s and 60s (ME TV) can be a little grainy but is not much different than how they appeared on my 4k 75” set. I realize there is not 8K content (except YouTube) but when standing directly in front of the TV can barely distinguish a pixel on the screen. The sale price for this 8K 85” TV was excellent and the Best Buy team that delivered and wall mounted the set did an excellent job. I was concerned whether, as a 2022 model (800B) was brand new or may have been sitting around in a warehouse for a year and asked numerous times to confirm this set was brand new and in a box. When delivered the set was new in a sealed box and when checking the serial number, it appears to have been manufactured in Mexico in October 2023. I was surprised Samsung is still manufactoring 2022 sets in 2023. I thought the solar remote might be a gimmick but after 2 months of use and leaving the remote face down with the solar back exposed the remote is still at 100% charge. I have the TV HDMI connected to my 5.1 Yamaha receiver with Bose speakers, and the sound is great. The receiver is my HDMI hub and connects to my TIVO (cable box) and Apple TV. I’m currently only using one HDMI port and the optical connection on the Samsung One Connect Box. I’m very pleased with the purchase and installation and would highly recommend both Samsung and the Best Buy installation.

Great 2022 model that original MSRP was $6499.99... I bought on 5/17/23 for $2999.99. I upgraded from a 75" and now have to modify our cabinet wall to fit it, but it's well worth it, especially with aging eyes(the worst part of growing old). One connect makes it easy to set up external cooling. I always cool everything with some type of airflow. It's not good to let electronics cook themselves and cause bad ball solder connections. I game a lot...All the latest-gen consoles look great! The blacks are very...black and the anti-reflection is very good. Be warned pictures with cameras make the reflections seem more noticeable than they are to my eyes. My picture shows a good example of TV anti reflection compared to normal glass. Not many TVs are made to use for PC gaming, this one is giving me the urge to build a PC to use the super ultra widescreen ratio up to 32:9. I love having picture-in-picture again, now known as Multi View. You can set up many different multiview quick scene options. The features almost seem endless, especially integrating with other Samsung devices. I'm not much into sound bars, but really want to try the latest Samsung Q series Dolby Atmos with this TV. I usually control everything with Crestron so the few times I might need the remote will make the rechargeable solar cell remote very convenient.

Awesome TV. The picture is amazing. Our living room is bright during the day and the still looks great. No glare on the screen. Easy set up. The menu is easy to follow.

So far, so good! The television has a great picture, low profile and is easy to navigate. There’s been a few glitches with synching it to our Sonos system, but I think that has more to do with Sonos than than the TV.

I picked up samsung 8k tv qn800b tv works great. did not have any of the hdmi problems with like others have described over all pic is very nice and bright most all content looks good unless its 1080i or lower. Love tge solor remote as well never need to buy batteries again. When watching a move with the black bars on tol and bottom shows the problem witn the back light control but full screen shows and movies look great sports look really good as well. Pretty good deal while on sale. Bestbuy has it on sale now get one while they last. Oh and the one connect box is a nice touch

Excellent picture quality with incredible and dynamic video and audio features. I love the size 85, it’s perfect for our media room. Glare is a minimum so there is little to no reflection of light. Best TV ever!

This TV is awesome. Great picture and sound. Easy setup and easily navigable.

Picture is insanely good. Hadls extrenal box similar to a cable box. This can be mounted to t.v., or placed in different location. Comes with 5-6' cord as well as jumper for mounting to t.v. Both run a bit hotter than expected. Game Mode works fantastic. When hard wired to ethernet (1.5 gig) no noticeable lag. Did have one problem with aound disappearing. Did factory reset and problem was resolved.

The QN800 is a great tv. I hooked up PS5pro and wow! Talk about being immersed into the game! You need two people to set it on the stand it comes with, because its really wide. You also should buy a soundbar because the tv is very thin so the speakers are tiny. Still, totally worth it!

Picture quality is amazing bright with 8K up scaling, easy setup , read the specs !,. The frameless pic edge to edge , thin profile etc , rear speakers and build quality is superior. The TV is as described . The extra cost for this tv is justified if you want the best . item as new saved $. TV arrived perfect. free professional on time delivery.

Amazing picture quality. Being 85 inches makes it a true home movie theater.. Got it on a Black Friday deal is the cherry on top…. Convince the wife to buy another one for the master bedroom…!!!! Life is GOOD…. LOL

This is the best 8K Smart TV I have ever owned. The picture quality on 4K UHD discs and 4K streaming is second to none. The sound quality is also on point too. The TV is massive and essentially takes up entire wall in the house which makes for a movie theater-like experience.

This is the absolute BEST tv I have ever owned. The picture quality is outstanding! 8K resolution really makes a huge difference! The black levels are dark and so close to an OLED that I can't hardly tell the difference. 12/10 definitely recommend this TV! Excellent for gaming too with very little input lag! Games, Movies, TV shows all look and have so much more depth and detail that I was never able to see on my previous Sony X900H.

I actually picked this one over the s95 OLED because the Neo Q LEDs are amazing. With the multi-panel backlight, this was a great choice giving me a brighter picture in a room with large windows over the s95 OLED. #NeoQLeds #BrightPicture #HomeTheater
