So this unit is GREAT. Love the picture, but I must say that I'm not a fan of the new menu (Home Screen). Love the GAME bar and how the TV outputs the HDR content and 120FPS when playing my PS5. Can't say too much about how it sounds as I got a Sonos system outputting the sound for the TV....Well wroth the money overall, outstanding job Samsung.

I loved my TV and everything about it. The screen is high quality and many programs and movies can be seen at high resolution.

Wouldn’t buy again. It’s big enough but the 8k isn’t all that. The speakers blew in the first month at normal listening levels.

A bit heavier than i thought it would be. PHENOMINAL 8K picture!!! My samsung S21 takes incredible pics... but when i take pics of anything 8K on this TV, the pictures turn out looking blurred... that is how good the picture on this set looks!!!

The TV only worked for 5 Months. After the screen went black. Ive been without a TV for a Week

Freaking fantastic! I had issues initially setting up and I discovered my Apple TV external box for some reason would not work. I can however use the Apple app and run it thru my Anthem AVM70 processor and that works like a champ. I could not be happier except I cannot rum my Apple Music like I did before thru the Apple TV box. So for now I run my music thru my Bluesound vault to my processor via Amazon music. Hopefully I’ll figure out how to run Apple Music thru the screen like I did with my old setup. I love this TV

Unfortunately, an open box TV with missing screws for the TV stand was delivered to my home. I had to have it returned and now I am being told they are no longer having this TV new as option for where I live.

The initial set up was great. Was super excited for xbox game pass. But i just can get my elite 2 controller to work on this tv. It pairs fine but not functional. The controller doesn't even respond to the tv after being paired. There is also some annoying spots in the tv. Literally spotting.

Tv was sent with the manufacturing defect. Spot appeared on day one and have been dealing with the best buy customer service. Defective tv was sent and called bestbuy to to an exchange and spent 4 days almost 30+ hours on hold or waiting which includes a store trip to get the exchange. Since tv was out of stock at my address but was available to deliver at different bestbuy store 60 miles away so the only solution was to take the 85 inch 140 pounds tv to that store and have the exchange done. Which will cost me approx $300-$$500 to rent uhaul take the tv there bring the tv back. This is probablly the wotst customer service i have dealt with. After this i will try my best to stay away from best buy as much as possible and cancel mg plus membership.

1st delivery came in dented, so i had them returned and the replacement came in 1 week later. The replacement TV is worst! The picture is distorted and there was a dead pixels on thenscreen.

This review Excludes rating of the kluge that is Tizen OS. I'm reviewing the TV panel and features as 5 stars. I would generously review the Tizen OS at 1 star as a major handicap. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this TV with the Caveat that you will probably need to order a BN59-01315A Samsung (or generic) remote control to truly enjoy the experience (this remote is included with UK models along with the "smart" remote). The 800B has been reviewed by some of the pros as being BRIGHTER than the newer 800C due to new limits on power usage enacted by the EU for 2023, which apparently negatively affected the US version of the TV as well. With an EPA annual usage rating of $51/yr on the 800B, my personal reaction to this is...please hurt me for the $51 a year and give me the brighter TV for gosh sake!! So yes, this TV is amazingly bright. IMO, superior to the 2023 model. Watching a bright desert scene you may indeed feel moved to don some sunglasses.;);) I have not watched any 8K content on it yet, but I have been wholly impressed by its scaling technology with 1080 and 4K content. Contrary to most reviewers, I was also impressed with the 480 upscaling of 1960s Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea on MeTV. No complaints here! The sound from the 8 built-in speakers is phenomenal for a flat screen TV, Samsung has taken flat TV sound to a new level. There is plenty of sound available on this TV without a soundbar or full complent of external speakers. Obviously, I don't get the full rich bass that I enjoy in my car with 14" sub, but I also didn't expect it either. In my apartment surrounded by neighbors on all sides its much more than adequate. I try to respect my neighbors 8 feet away. In fact, I wish the neighbors downstairs would ditch their 15" subwoofers that feel like they're scooting my bed across the room at times. This TV was introduced at around $6500 a little over a year ago. At $2500 price for 85 inches of nirvana, what are you waiting for!?? Shockingly, I thought I was buying old stock for a huge discount, but the manufacture date on my TV shows Sept 2023!! Not sure why Samsung is still producing last years model AFTER they've released this year's model. Possibly they are still able to sell it with the higher power usage because it is a "2022 model"?? It increased my satisfaction even more, knowing that I was not receiving a TV that had been sitting in a warehouse since COVID. Instead of buying the 2 year extended warranty, I opted to pay a few more dollars and enroll in BBuy+ or whatever it's called. Now, not only will my TV be covered for 2 yrs, but also my new $200 Kuerig as well as, possibly, a new Playstation that I might purchase with the $130 of gift certs I got for purchasing the TV and the coffeemaker!! Win-Win!!
