The picture quality is excellent and Tizen os works well and all the streaming services work well in 4k. The 8k upscaling is hard to tell if it's working. The remote is excellent since it can be charged with USB c and it has a solar changer however it is not backlit so it is harder to navigate in the dark. The only done side to this TV is the HDR since it is a QLED, not an OLED it is very bright but there is still some minor blooming especially around white text on a black background. The HDR is great if the content is HDR10+ Dolby VIson also looks ok but since it is not supported it does not look as good. The navigation to get to the picture settings is clunky and I wish it would allow you to change more settings without covering up what you are watching so you can not see the difference luckily this can be fixed with updated software. Luckily the one thing you can not fix is the amazing panel that looks great.

We have had the tv for a few weeks. Even though there are not really any 8K shows etc. it still is an amazing picture and great that we have a large room to be able to view the tv. We are very happy with the picture output and still learning all the functions. The menu bar is slightly different and will get better the more we watch the tv and use the remote. So far the only disappointment is that when they came to deliver and mount the tv we found out that the TV came with a big flat box where you connect all your cables to and on plug goes to the TV. This was a complete surprise to us and having to think where we can place this box is an issue this box should be able to be mounted behind the tv if the user wishes. Sound is okay but we have a Samsung sound bar hooked up so we have only used the tv sound alone once.

8k videos on YouTube really show this TV's muscle. 4k programming on streaming services looks amazing. The ease of navigation is intuitive and fast. No issues, bought this with future-proofing in mind. Looking forward to more 4k-8k content.

Very pleased with this TV. It has an outstanding picture and easy setup. Samsung has never disappointed me. With this addition, I rotated out a 13 year old 55 inch HD that was still working great.

Best 8k TV, I have this one and the 75' version and both are astonishing. Even though there isnt that much 8k content out there this Q800a brings out the best out of normal 4k and 1080p content. Brighter colors sharper images than any other Samsung 4k TVs.

First off I do not consider myself an expert. However your eyes will be quite pleased with the picture quality of this behemoth, and isn't that what It's all about. Before I purchased this tv, I read most all the reviews, and did my homework and decided on this model. Now I am totally satisfied with my decision. People need to realize you need to read the manuals and understand the settings on the tv before you write a review. After a few tweaks on the settings this tv really shines, it is by far the best I've owned. It replaced a 6yo Sony 75" 4K which the team at Best Buy did an unbelievable job switching out. Can't say enough about the service I received from Best Buy they are A+A+A+A+A+A+A+. In closing, yes you will see some poor reviews but do your due diligence and look with your eyes and don't someones opinion decide for you.

The TV was pretty average. Super heavy and very bulky. Picture is decent, but nothing to go crazy over.

Great picture. After purchase I figured out buying a 8k doesn’t add a lot so looking back I would have bought a high end 4K.

Picture quality is wonderful. Unfortunately there is no 8K movie content yet to enjoy full potential of the TV

I never thought there would be such a difference in picture quality between a 4k and 8k TV but it's much more obvious than between 1080p and 4k. Picture on this TV is amazing especially when watching 8k content on YouTube. Best buy was more than happy to refund me the $500 price drop in the weeks after I purchased the TV. Kudos all around! Sound quality is not as good as advertised but with a TV like this a home theater is a must.

Samsung's 85" has a very sharp and clear picture. The colors are outstanding. A good purchase value.

This TV has the best picture I have ever seen on a TV. I am replacing a Epson 4k projector with a 100 inch screen with this tv and it wins hands down.... I cannot believe how sharp and vibrant the colors are... I am glad I bought this 85 incher....

Simply excellent. I am proud to own home theater. This TV really gives theater experience. Just with WIFI, streaming is uninterrupted and high quality. Processed 4K/HD gives better feel. I was worried without 8K content what is the use of 8k TV. Its been a week time, we are enjoying it. re-watching all my favorite movies in weekend & holidays.
