Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had the TV for about 6months bought in DEC 2021 we where watching a movie and the backlight faded out leaving a black screen but still had audio, not impressed for a 5k dollar tv and def starting to wish i bought the bigger warranty hopefully it gets fixed and no issues for a few years. Other than that great TV when it works

The only downside is how great it is can make older videos/non-remastered look awful. We do have a sound bar and more speakers connected to it, and have since we go it, so I can’t speak for its own audio quality.

The Television occasionally freezes but, I just call The Geek Squad and they come asap to make the necessary adjustments. The Service has been excellent.

So, I'm future-proofing plus I'm already enjoying 4k that is being rezed up to 7k by the flat screen.

My daughter was playing a game on her Nintendo Switch and the very light weight controller slipped out of her hand and hit the edge of the TV. The screen is now cracked at the spot where it hit, and there is no picture on the entire screen. Also, the TV appears unable to be turned off. I tried turning it off but it seems to just turn itself back on and then turns off and on repeatedly. If these TVs are so easily broken, they should not be charging such high prices for them, or at least warranty them for such incidents. Now I have to see if the total tech support and the extended warranty I purchased is worth it.

We have had nothing but problems with the sound on this TV. It would skip and freeze up and have static. We returned it and had the Geek Squad out many times. Even the 2nd tv had the same problems. We think we figured it out, that the box was over heating so we bought a fan to keep it cool and asked for another box to see it that was the problem. Sad to say Samsung is buying it back. They said it was cheaper to buy it back than to replace it. They said they would give us $4000 to replace it and we said no so we will see what happends I sent them our receipt for it today. Other than that its a awesome tv.
