Thought I'd try this model. The smart platform is simple to use and I like the design. However, Samsung should've made a different base for this size because it's a bit wobbly for an 85". Also, the TV has a bit of twist too much tilt backward when assembled to the base. I believe it's just this TV with a bad stand. Aside from that, there are lots of good reviews but I don't agree with all of them. Picture quality is just OK but that my opinion. I see judder issues, gradation is noticeable even after making the best adjustments. I'm going back to a Sony because of the more natural picture look and I like their processors better.

HDR setting is way too dark, particularly as the TV was chosen because it is supposed to give a bright image. Too many of the settings are preset by Samsung and are not adjustable. Good for TV, though some of the greens on the golf course are unnaturally bright. No comment on the sound, as I am using external speakers.

Quantum Matrix Technology is powered by exclusive Mini LED designed technology engineered to give you hyper-focused brightness and dimming in all the right areas, and the Quantum Processor 4K elevates every picture to 4K.
If you are uncomfortable with the default brightness settings, you can customize the brightness level between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness.
You can also try different Picture Modes to see which best fits your needs. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode for the below choices:
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
Intelligent Mode also enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Adaptive Picture, which is among the options, optimizes brightness and provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the lighting condition and the content you're viewing.

Over a month later, I still have 2 holes in my wall, which were left by your technician. Folks, Best Buy is good until you need them. They outsource, so you're speaking with people who are untrained.
