Better than lower version the only thing is the tv sound lower than old version that I bought on 2016 Samsung 63000

TV worked great for 1 year, right at 13 months I started getting scan lines that won't go away, firmware, software updates to no avail. My 65" LG is 8 yrs old and still clear as when I first got it. Found out this is a common problem on Samsung TVs. And I'm 1 month past manufacturing warranty. Not worth it.

Not sure what to think of this TV. The original purchased TV started having a dark rectangular box after only having two weeks. I’m having it replaced with the same model so I’ll see how this one goes.

Mounted on wall by Best Buy Feb 2024. Everything ok until one month later. Vertical line on left side of screen after concealing wires behind TV. No physical damage to TV but Samsung claimed impact and warranty denied. A TV should not be so fragile that the screen is damaged by the slightest movement of concealing wires. I would not purchase another Samsung TV. Samsung did not stand behind their product.

Astounding picture. If you’re looking for an 85” TV and don’t want to shell out $10k, look no further than this TV. I bought it from Best Buy on 8/10/24. I wanted to have it for a couple months before I reviewed it. I’ve had a 65” plasma (Panasonic) and a 75” LED (Sony). This 85” Samsung blows the Sony away so far as picture quality is concerned. The plasma’s deep black may be a skosh (sic?) better, but overall, even at 20” larger, this picture is better. Some have complained about the remote. Really?? The remote is thin (both width and thickness) but that’s a bad thing??? Who cares? Takes up less space. The remote is solar and Samsung should have included the charger, but I got it online for like $10 bucks. The set itself is awesome. I paid $2k for it at Best Buy and frankly, it’s worth much more. If you buy this set you will be very happy, believe me. God is good.

Deep, rich colors and great brightness and contrast! Setup was very easy. I heartily recommend this set…. Perfect for all viewing; especially sports!

Fantastic picture quality. Some 4K programs look 3D. Color is great. Easy to set up and use. It's nice that the manual is an e manual you can access online instead of trying to find what you need in a paper manual.

Great colors and really dark blacks. This TV is great for gaming with vivid colors and still visible and clear in the dark scenes of a show and movie. I would definitely buy this again. A little pricey, but worth it! I use a sound bar that I already had, but the TV's speakers as sufficient/good enough in our living room as well. Great sound, picture, and brightness all around.

Great TV, the picture quality is really stunning, and it does it all without using as much energy as my old 65" TV... it loses a star because of the Samsung operating system which is not super intuitive and the remote controls are just 'ok'.

I wanted to wait a little while after my purchase to write a review to make sure there were no issies with this TV. It has now been a month and it is absolutely amazing. The picture quality is fantastic! It has alot of features with is plus and the price is reasonable for an 85". Because it is a flat screen the speakers are not on the front so if you like it loud or the effects of surround sound you will want to purchase a surround bar.

Ive been a fan of Samsung tvs since 2015 and this is my best one yet ... the picture is superb and the price is just right. Couple this with a good receiver and it gets even better!

Beautiful picture! Delivery was great, set up and wall mounting was fairly easy as long as you have two strong people. Sound is average but is easily fixed with a decent sound bar. My only issue was the Tizen operating system once stopped working for a few hours. Couldn't stream anything even though there was nothing wrong with my internet connection. Not sure what that was about, but the next day it was fine and has been ever since.

Picture is clear and colors are vibrant. Easy set up and able to load all our streaming apps.
