Normally I'm a bit slow to jump on the newest technology, but after seeing Samsung's 8K display my eyes simply hurt when I looked at my old 1080i TV. Our great room is oversized so I wanted the largest screen available. I purchased a 85" NeoQLED QN900A and it's perfect!

It automatically upconverts old movies and it is wild watching old movies with this clarity! PS5 and xbox frame rate is incredible! The best part is that I paid less than half the original msrp!

Regarding this tv, after purchasing last year's 85 950ts, i was very disappointed with Samsung however, this Neo Qled is the best tv i have owned. It seems to handle all content well and doesn’t suffer from last year's woes... dirty screen effect and horrible grey uniformity. This is finally worthy of replacing my 75Q9FN.

The picture of this Samsung 85" is nothing but breathtaking. I was one of or possibly the first to order and take delivery of this TV and waited about 2 months for it to come. Well worth the wait!

Also should have waited for the less expensive 8K tv sense I have no plans to make a video wall.

Thank you for your purchase and review of the 2021 QN900A Neo QLED 8K TV. Please know that while most 8K content is captured using cinema-grade 8K HDR cameras, most of this content is finished in 4K resolution, which is currently the highest resolution available in newer Blu-rays or DVDs.
The amount of 8K content available continues to expand – content platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo feature a great deal of 8K content, mostly focused on nature and travel. This is quite similar to the way that 4K content was introduced to the market.
Although your movies and shows may be in 4K resolution, please rest assured as your QN800A features Samsung’s Neo Quantum Processor 8K with AI-powered multi-layered neural networks to brilliantly upscale and enhance lower resolution images to 8K, regardless of the source. Every frame has 33 million pixels that provide an incredible sense of depth and clarity.
To provide you with the best viewing experience, we recommend connecting external devices (like a Blu-ray Player) with HDMI cables, as this type of connection offers the best picture. Although all content resolutions will upscale, 4K content will provide the best picture quality. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it.
