Amazing picture quality! I also enjoy the Tizen smart platform and find it very easy to use. This platform also enables me to download the Spectrum app, so I can stream my service through the app. I've had issues finding Spectrum on other platforms, but TIzen supports the Spectrum app, so that's a huge plus for me.

It pairs great with our Samsung security cameras video, when we connected it to one of the TV's HDMI inputs. Now when the doorbell rings we don't have to stop what we are watching to see who's out front. I just select the saved multi view input settings on the Tizen toolbar, and it shows the cameras view and what we were watching simultaneously on the screen with sound!! I need to do some more research to see if the security camera and TV work together using (Samsung dex)

The picture on light, bright shows is beautiful. The bad...... There are well documented problems with this tv that have been there for months and samsung has not fixed them yet. There are many problems with the local dimming and contrast. Even settings that do not hold once you set the tv up. I can not wait until this tv gets exchanged for another brand because this is so bad. We have to unplug or totally reset the picture every day to fix just one of the problems. In the meantime we can not watch any shows that are darker because there is no definition to the objects. The problems are even being discussed on the Samsung community. Other forums have some fixes that have worked for only some people. Unfortunately not for me. I could not live with this for any length of time waiting to see if Samsung fixes the issue. On top of that, the sound cuts in and out on some channels after you have watched for a bit. You have to channel up and down on regular tv or pause streaming and it temporarily fixes it. This has not been a good experience.

Decent but Disappointed

I expected the blacks to be much better and it is somewhat better. Biggest issue is picture studder on the Intelligent setting. If I take it off, the studder goes away but the pictures haze, especially with blacks. So its either the slight studder or the poor black coloring. You can't turn one on without the other.

To optimize your picture quality, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1560.5 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
To provide you with the best image quality, your new TV also features Expert Calibration when the Picture Mode is set to Movie (Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Movie). This will provide you with an accurate picture with professional-grade picture calibration that delivers true color.
In addition to the several picture modes on your TV, you may also want to try adjusting additional picture settings if the picture you are seeing is not to your liking.
You can go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the TV settings to your taste with functions such as Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, Color, Tint (G/R), Picture Clarity Settings, Local Dimming, Contrast Enhancer, and many more.

We chose this over the new QN90b for the price given the hardware was near identical. Sticky finger smudges on the screen also clean off easily with a good (dry) microfiber cloth. Can't comment on the sound quality too much as we use a home theatre setup for that.

Only complaint is there is no WRITTEN user’s manual so it’s very difficult to figure out how to use this tv to its full capacity. Those of us who are not tech savvy struggle.
