Slow color and backlight hurts picture a lot

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.To cut directly to the problem - the moment there is movement in a scene, picture quality falls apart on this TV. Even in movie or filmmaker or game mode, the color and brightness of faces smear as they move. Bright lights dim while they are in motion then return to their original brightness once they stop. Colors in general get an off putting green tint as people or objects move across the TV. It’s particularly bad when there is a bright object moving against a dark background. On our older full array local dimming TV from another manufacturer the same images are clear with proper brightness and color in the same scenes from the same sources. The brightness of the display is wonderful! Unfortunately the horrible backlight and color handling during movement in scenes of shows, movies and games ruins the immersion. I’d recommend buying another TV, and unfortunately not a Samsung as this is apparently an issue across their newer models as well. It’s sad because still images are breathtaking on this display! If they could handle motion properly it would be just about perfect. It’s just too broken to recommend as it is now.
