Fatal Flaw on a great TV.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i finally pulled the trigger on an 85” tv. despite it being gard to transport, setup, and lift. i was immediately blown away by the pucture quality. however, the qn90a has a fatal flaw; the wide angle and anti-glare lense on the screen renders the tv absolutely useless out of the box. this lense creares a streaking rainbow effect, thats utterly distracting and ruins the viewing experince. instead of glare reducing as intened, this exponentially multiplies glare in any normal household setup if you have lights on anywhere within range of the tv. my 15 year old tv had less glare. this is an absolute waste of $3k, and a waste of your time. i would actively reccomend not purchasing this tv, or samsung, to any family, friends, or even strangers. Also, Samsung censored my review as written above on their website.

However, either the TV or the setup is not up to par because the picture is maybe 90% of what our last Samsung TV was. Both are 4K, last one was 65". I expected better, not perfection, but better. I don't feel like I'm there in action as much as I did before.

Hands down one of the best TVs I have ever laid my eyes on. Its great visual quality with amazing colors and hues. Definitely worth the purchase!

We appreciate you for sharing the details of your issue with Wi-Fi connectivity. A network issue may be the cause. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Make sure that no items that can generate electromagnetic interferences are placed between the TV and the wireless/wired access point.
2) Check if the access point is turned on. If it is on, turn it off, wait 1 or 2 minutes, and then turn it on. Enter the correct password if required.
3) If the wireless connection fails, connect the TV to the access point via a LAN cable. If the TV can connect to the Internet normally via the wired connection, there might be a problem with the access point. In this case, try using a different access point.
4) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
5) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

Definitely worth the price (once it hit $2300, down from around $5000 when we started looking at it a year before).

I like the way I can change the picture to movies and then switch to a game mode. The different aspect ratio is interesting for game mode with a PC. Think of a wide or ultra wide monitor on your TV.

The only issue with the Samsung QN90A is the download speed is capped at 100 Mbps. I discovered that other Smart TV manufactures also cap download speeds to 100 Mbps. I asked Best Buy and others why but no one has an answer!

Im having my screen replaced 5 months after purchase due to dead pixels and burn in lines. One before this one lasted the years until the the backlit led went so dark you can't see the picture. Pay the extra and get OLED. Trust me you'll thank me later

It was ready when he said it would be and picking it up was easy we had help from one of the geek squad securing it in the truck for the ride home he was exceptional
