Lots of problems

The TV has lots of issues: 1. The internet is slow. I use network cable and get 30mps with 100 ping while my native connection is 10ms and 800mps. I checked cables and ran a bunch of tests. I have no idea what kind of crappy network card they have in this TV. 2. Operating system sucks, with ads everywhere. 3. colors suck, especially too bright whites 4. Sound issues: I have a high end sound system and constantly issues with eARC. 5. processor issues: the TV reacts sluggish like it has too little processing power. 6. Remote does not work most of the time. I have charged it several time, but still often it just does not work well. It would be a nice remote if it would work (the universal remote is great, works with apple tv and cable, it just is unreliable) 7. This TV is supposed to not glare, but it glares a lot more than the q80 from 2020 i have in bedroom. Overall horrible experience. But a few amazing things: TV is great if it would work and the colors would not be off. Love the PC connection options.++

Thank you for choosing Samsung's QN90A Neo QLED 4K TV and for sharing the issues you have experienced with this TV. Your TV features Object Tracking Sound which tracks the action with strategically placed dynamic speakers and Adaptive Sound which automatically adjusts audio to enhance everything from dialogue to music and sports.
You can select a sound mode that you prefer for a content type or your listening environment. Go to: Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
You can also customize sound with Expert Settings. Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings
Additionally, there are image adjustments you can make to optimize your picture to suit your preferences. Your TV has several Picture Modes to choose from allowing you to enjoy content in optimal conditions. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer to manually fine tune your image.
To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
If you press any key on the remote, and the LED indicator at the top of your remote stays on for about 3 seconds rather than blinking, please try the following steps to reset your remote:
1) Long press the RETURN key and ENTER key together for about 10 seconds you’re your remote was once paired already with the TV, you do not need to re-pair it again. However, if it was not paired with the TV, pairing must be done after the reset.
2) The RETURN key is on the left side of your remote and looks like a curved, backwards pointing arrow.
3) The ENTER key is the button in the center of your directional ring.

Terrible Picture Quality while viewing SDR Content

I bought the TV based on RTINGS reviews and was disappointed. I returned it for the Sony X90 and could not be happier.

q90a 85" rainbows

However, I've started to see rainbows across the screen. They come and go. Not sure where that came from. It's two lines that quickly show up and disappear from the screen.

First bad, second good, exchange a pia

Waited several weeks for exchange but found out the person I spoke w/about the return did not process the order correctly so further delay. Second TV seems to work great so far and the delivery teams were great both times.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your new 2021 QN90A Neo QLED TV. If the picture you are seeing out-of-the-box is not to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
You can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.
To ensure that your TV’s picture is optimized, be sure that you are always running the latest firmware update. You can check this by going to Settings > Support > Software Update or you can enable Auto Update for convenience.
