Caught this TV on sale....upgrading Samsung 75". The color and resolution on this TV is fantastic and the 120 refresh rate makes a difference...I thought the 75" was good....this is many times better.....Movies are great....Sports are fantastic
Think the sound is OK...but run this thru a connected Samsung Soundbar to add the surround sound component

Nice big 86”TV. Great clear image. However we had to buy a sound bar. The sound for this TV is not the best. Besides that, it was a good buy

This tv has one of the best pictures I have seen with incredible detail and motion with extreme contrasts and colors, which is why I am extremly dissapointed to have to take exchange it. I decided to exchange it for the Samsung 85ninch QNED 85B, which a less better tv picure wise than the 90A. The reason for my negative review and unles you plan to only watch this tv in complete darkness all the time is that it handles light of any kind in the worst manner I have seen in any tv. I am not sure exactly what exactly makes the 90A and 90B models of this tv but it really makes the tv unwatchable. After seeing this for my own eyes. The thing is that the light source is not even in friont of it. It takes light from the side and basically smears it all across the screen creating a rainbow ans white smudge effect that completely ruins watching the tv. Night time scenes on movie or if it has any black areas on the tv it produces a glare so bad that all you focus on is the glare. Samsung in my opinion should redesign the panels for this tv because they are ruining a completely stunning product. I went back to check out the 85B in store and it has a semi gloss screen which does not produce the rainbow effect or light scatter that their next tier tv produces. I have that one coming and the 90A will be exchanged for that one. I can tell you that when you look a the picure of the 90A vs the 85B, the 90A has way more pop and better picture. Thar is why thos makes me so upset because I got a better deal for the 90A, but now I have to spend 300 dollars more for a next tier down model. Before even thinking about buying this tv, I recommend you look up online about the rainbow effect on this model or the 90B as well. It baffles me why Samsung would ruin this tv in this manner.

I was excited to get the top of the line Samsung TV that was highly reviewed as having best picture. I found this not to be the case if you like watching hockey or golf, the TV displays what is called ‘dirty screen’. It looks blurry and as if someone wiped the TV behind the fast moving action. If your watching movies and TV shows it performs well. I’m sending it back and will give the Sony X91J a chance.

I was really excited to get this TV as my past experiences with Samsung have been good but there's a green smear on fast bright highlights) on standard and high LD. Setting it to low fixes it but then the picture is way too dim. I see the green smear on faces when they have bright highlights and they move fast or when there's a bright background and a dark silouhette and also on anime content/toons. Some say it happens on game mode but I see it on non game mode on my Apple TV 4K (Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie and FILMMAKER) and before anyone says anything I also saw it on the native apps. It's so distracting (check pictures for reference) unfortunately it's going back.. there's also a local dimming bug where you have to soft reset the TV every time you turn it on for high local dimming to work properly otherwise it looks like it's on low. I looked it up and other people had the same problem for months. I guess Samsung doesn't care to fix it. Firmware 1904.. hopefully this review can make Samsung fix it for those who decided to keep it or noticed too late but I'm not going to keep it hoping they do fix it.

Very unhappy with this purchase. After months of research and waiting for TVs to become available I made the decision to purchase this flagship model. I’ve owned multiple Samsung TVs through the years but I was ready to make the jump to the highest available quality. After ONE month of regular usage the TV no flashes on and off and has a large area that has no brightness. This was average usage nothing pushed the TV to its limits by any means not even a video game console was connected to the TV. Very unhappy I know own a 4 thousand dollar 85in black picture frame. TV is being served but I am looking to get a new TV this is unacceptable. Impossible to add a video to show the aggressive none stop flashing. Samsung should be better I hope to receive a New TV.

Great picture, but not for gaming. NONE of the hdmi 2.1 features work. It has a setting called "input signal plus" that has to be on to use hdr, 4k 120hz, or game mode. Turning it on makes the TV comepletely lose connection.

So far so good. Its been about a month since the TV was delivered and I set it up. Have to turn up the volume pretty high to hear but a sound bar will take care of that.

Amazing tv, you have to upgrade your tv box to 4K in order to experience the best tv experience. Not all of football games are broadcast in 4K yet. The technology in this tv is a head of the times

Any room lights show up as light bands that stretch across the whole TV screen. Picture quality is terrible.
