I’ve owned this TV for 2 years now and it has been flawless! Wide range of lights/darks, very slim design and amazing 4K including streaming and gaming.

    Flat against the wall

To me, the big feature is how flat it sits against the wall when using the Samsung slim mount (not included). The wire bracket that attaches to the tv snaps flush with the wall mount, when we test assembled it, but couldn't get it to snap together after mounting on the wall. Still the front of the TV is close to 1" from the wall. Samsung lies about the brightness and got caught at it, but i still find the TV bright enough even though I've got these in rooms with large south facing windows - the TV faces east/west. Color is vivid, without the yellow cast i see in faces on Insignia/Toshiba Fire TVs. Built in speakers are OK, but I use the TV's HDMI audio out to drive 7.1 speaker set through Denon AVS receiver, which is dramatically fuller and deeper. Intgrates well with Fire TV 4k MAX & Fire remote can control TV and receiver. Good end of year discounts available now that 2022 models are out. Price dropped another $300 since I purchased.

I love the solar remote. I opted to put the tv on the stand and it a perfect size to put a soundbar under. I love that this tv connects to everything!! Once you have a big tv all other fail to compare

Great bright colors and amazing viewing points … the rainbow when the television is off is not a big deal everything has pros & cons … owning several different Samsungs by far this one was worth the price point there always room to improve if the budget was higher

Amazing TV with great quality. The sheer presence of this TV is a highlight in our living room. It looks great. One thing, do not buy this TV without the appropriate sound bar, that will turn your Living room into a true cinematic experience.

This tv has been an absolute life changer. Deep dark blacks and bright whites. Only fooled me thinking it was an OLED TV even if it’s not. Colors looked saturated and beautiful but not silly. Smooth 120hz display which is awesome for gaming and stunning on movies. If you watch “dark spooky” movies, this changes your life. YOU CAN FINALLY SEE THE MOVIE! Not just a grey screen. I got the 82’ model so I got help setting up but just a fantastic tv. Even in my living which has a lot of windows and is very bright, you’re able to see it with its very bright display. The Matt finish on the screen helps with glare.

Incredible picture...just wish they had more of the picture options available when running an HTPC. To get the most out of the TV, you should be running at least a sound bar or an AVR for audio...but if you're purchasing a TV like this, that should be a given.

Pleased with our new 85” Samsung NeoQLED TV! Our living room is sunny and we can see beautiful color like we have never watched before! It is like we have our own little theater. Ask for Katie at Best Buy on Marks in LV and you can have one too!

Excellent TV. The picture is crisp, perfectly bright and has excellent colors. One thing that I would change is the remote control. It is all dark and cannot see the buttons. Also, the manual, over 250 pages , is only online. A printed copy should be included.

Great picture and pretty good sound. Love the rechargeable remote. Fairly easy to set up. But you will need help. The only thing I don't like about samsung tvs are you cant get rid of all their apps so you loose a lot of memory because of that.

Samsung Neo Q LED - Do not recommend

We purchased this TV 3 years ago now. Shortly after the one year warranty expired it started having severe connectivity problems. Problems with apps, internet connectivity, etc. Once I did some research online it seems to be a common issue with many Samsung TVs. Which is very unfortunate due to the price of them nowadays. The only reason I am giving it two stars and not one, is that the picture quality is fantastic. I would strongly advise agains purchasing this (or similar) Samsung due to the hassle it has been for us.

Really good tv. Good video. The only bad thing would be since I’ve bought it, it kinda has like an action delay on the screen when using the remote. Other than that I’d buy another one!

For the price this is a great tv, i have been a loyal sumsung tv customer and this tv has a great picture I decided against the OLED tv's because of the high prices although they had a razor sharp picture and brilliant color. I find the picture on this tv has a better depth.

This is the TV for you, if you don’t want to chance burn-in. The TV for you if you want to game in 4K at 120fps! I recently watched Top Gun: Maverick on this TV and it automatically switched itself into filmmaker mode and with this 85” behemoth paired to a Samsung Q750B 5.1 Dolby Atmos surround sound system, it was a close as I’ve ever come to experiencing IMAX at home. Highly recommend especially for the price of less than $3000 combined!!

Pros - Great picture for bright room. Sports and motion are very good. - Very good support for Apple TV and Sonos sound bar with base - Fantastic support for physical mouse and keyboard. Just plug them into the TV! - Very good support for mouse and keyboard for iPhone app ("ControlMeister" apple store). I highly recommend the ControlMeister app for iPhone which works better than the Samsung remote. - Smart TV works very well. - Buit-in internet browser app with mouse and keyboard support. This is more important to me than I thought. - Ran some video test patterns on it. Very good except for color banding. Cons - Some dark videos like Daredevil, may not look as good as they could. For Daredevil, faces are a little bit harder to see I suspect due to some black crushing or color accuracy. I tried a lot of settings. Picture mode "Standard" helps. The LG C1, Sony A90J, 2021 12.9 iPad Pro, 2020 LG Gram laptop all look pretty similar to the Samsung QN90A (Sony A90J looks the best but not substantially). Interestingly, my old Windows Surface laptop (version 1) looks way better than even the Sony A90J. No idea why. I can only guess that my Surface laptop is so old it has no black crushing algorithms and/or it has color mappings that work better for this specific video. - Ethernet card in this TV is pretty bad. I have gigabit internet and the built-in browser shows 75MB download speed. Doesn't seem to be a problem for the built-in apps I stream. I stream more on Apple TV which doesn't use the TVs internal ethernet card. - No sound problem with Apple TV Prime video app. Probably some sort of incompatibility with my sonos sound bar or ARC. No problems when I used the built-in Amazon Prime app. Bought this TV for a bright family room. From my simple picture comparisons, OLED TVs don't offer enough of a better picture to justify their price and who wants the possibility of burn in. I did not get a chance to try out the Sony X95J. I definitely recommend the Samsung QN90A.
