||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think that's my only complaint is that I had to hunt around on Samsung's website to find their drive cloning software; it didn't come with it or have a link to it in the manual, as far as I could find. It's called "Samsung Magician" for those who may need it. I was upgrading from a 256GB EVO 840 (I think, one level lower in model number) so I wasn't expecting a huge speed improvement, just space. But, there really does seem to be a noticeable difference in my eyes from what I already thought was a pretty fast drive to this one. Really loving it. I was half tempted to go even bigger, but the price per GB ratio is still too rich for my blood at the next size up and I didn't honestly need 1TB. Added bonus of upgrading a drive, now I have a nice fast and tiny USB drive with my old 256GB drive in the mSATA external enclosure I had to buy to facilitate the drive cloning.

That turned out to be easy to do and very easy to install. The drive is very fast and so far very dependable. I'm a happy customer.

The cost was very inexpensive compared to purchasing a new laptop with a larger hard drive.
