I purchased this over two months ago to replace a mechanical drive. This is much faster and of course it boots way faster. Not too much else I can add but I am happy with this new drive.

Used this to replace the boot drive on my computer. This upgrade reduced the boot time and reduced the noise of the computer. The computer is also faster in normal operation than before.

got this for PS4 pro upgrade. is install just got to follow the instructions on PS website. Samsung are the best at SSD. There is no comparison and the price is always nice when its on sale.

Works as expected and easy to install. Have an older version that i have been using for about 4 years now and it’s still holding up fine. Just got this one to add more space.

Currently my main game and file drive, the extra burst in speed over a traditional hard drive is far more noticeable than I imagined. Loading into open world games or MMOs is now a breeze, with the difference in speed especially noticeable in Fallout 4. Draw calls are faster, meaning new data is rendered and fed into view faster. This is a big plus for anyone modding the game. Transferring 4k video from my NVMe to this drive also sees the full 550mbps or so available via the SATA6 bus speed being utilized as much as possible. Plus, it's samsung, so you know you're getting excellent endurance and a solid warranty to back it up.

Installed this on a Dell XPS 8700 due to HDD failure. Boot up time noticeably much quicker. Able to work on many photo and video projects with out delays. Very satisfied with it so far.

I really like this SSD. It's got a great price for great storage. Moving mass quantities of data gets slow, but after that it's all good!

I'll note first and foremost that Samsung makes one of the best lines of Solid State Drives (hence, SSD, for those unacquainted with the term) in existence. Pros: pretty speedy response time, great budget for gaming storage Cons: extremely large downloads & files can slow it down pretty quickly, whilst not as expensive as its other forms, it is still pretty costly

I put the 2TB Solid State inside my PS4 Pro it improved the speed amazingly the boot up times are a huge difference. I am happy I did this upgrade. Worth every penny.

Building a new PC and wanted to do it without conventional disk drives. These are fast, don't use much power and the 2 TB size was perfect. Installation and formatting was a snap.

This is a performance SSD - and Samsung makes some of the best ones at reasonable prices. I bought it for our work server & all my co-workers notice the difference in speed.

There is a lot of SSDs out there, but this one. This one is my pick. Plenty of space, it stores quickly and reads quickly. This SSD has been very reliable.

Bought it to put in my PS4 for more storage and to up loading speed while decreasing lag and so far so good would recommend to any that wants it for this purpose

I purchased this to replace the HDD in my nine-year-old computer. After cloning the HDD to the SSD, it's as if I have a new computer. Speed and reliability are incredible!

I have bought many SSDs for differing computers, these Samsung models are particularly nice and from a trustworthy brand (worth the $10-$30 markup sometimes), and will always recommend them. HOWEVER, the project this time was to speed up my PS4. Considering boot up and particularly digital games on the disk I thought this would make things fly. I went with a 2TB model since, last as I was aware, it's the largest capacity officially supported by Sony AND it was on sale! Prices for SSDs are still premium so if you can, wait for a sale. Unfortunately, I see very little benefit for using an SSD in my PS4. I've heard some people have done an installation and it works well. It didn't for me. Booting up takes same amount of time, digital games load no faster than they did before, no faster than disk based games. Definitely not worth the price for the performance boost I got (on par with a 7200RPM hard drive, moderately better than the stuttering 5400RPM that was in my PS4). Sometimes certain drives need updates or certain formatting. Perhaps this is one but is fine outside a gaming system. I shave off a star due to my experience this time. By all means, for a laptop or any PC this SSD will be great! Just beware anywhere else you're looking to get a speed boost.

Perfect option for upgrading my hard drive and it is fast and easy to install. Now I have lots of room for expansion of my movie library.

2TB is getting more and more common in recent builds. This is a more budget friendly choice - compared to the more sleek NVME options.

Love the speed, even though it's not an EVO, the QVO provides enough responsiveness, and makes good amount of room available more budget friendly.

I needed a large SSD and Samsung is the best. I usually get the EVO version but for price to capacity, this is a better value.
