I filled up the 1TB hard drive on my desktop computer. I went into Best Buy to buy a 2 TB replacement. The Best Buy employee sold me on the benefits of switching to a solid state drive. It was pretty simple to install and I used the Samsung data transfer to get all of my info switched over. I was relieved that it was easy to use. I would go with this Samsung drive again.

Blazing speed, compact size, and massive storage capacity!

I had a SATA3 1TB spinning disk in my 12 year old Dell and needed more space. Instead of buying a 2TB spinning disk I opted for 2TB SSD that isn't the fastest one out there. I didn't expect much of a performance improvement from the SSD via my older SATA2 interface. Wow! Boots and shuts down WAY faster. Loads games faster. Migration software made it easy.

Plenty of storage space, fast dependable drive. Very pleased with purchase.

You can't beat Samsung SSD for any other. They are the best. Even a bit older. It gives you so many options to serve your purpose. I bought this drive for simple system backup. There were bunch of other new options but with price and the function I was looking for, this was a killer deal. So latest is not always the greatest, it depends on situation!

Fast reliable SSD for your needs, easy replacement

I have been using a standard hard drive for video editing the last year or so before it started dying. I upgraded and so far this has been flawless after a few hiccups. There were only 2 issues I had that were small.My computer did not recognize the drive right away. And secondly there were no screws included to secure the drive.

Bought this to upgrade my PS4 Pro I am extremely happy with this loading times are so much better. Don't have any complaints it was a easy install took less than 5 minutes bought this because the 860 Evo were sold out don't really think I'm missing out on much.

Recommended by a salesperson. I was happy to get this drive. I also own an LCD monitor from them so I know I can expect great quality. It's easy to setup and use. You also have the option to download for free a utility program from Samsung to monitor the health of the drive. I also liked the fact that it holds 2 GB of memory.

Feels like I have a new computer! The speed of every aspect of my computer made a quantum leap. The noise level almost disappeared. I never realized just how much noise was coming from the old hard drive. Be aware that if you are replacing an existing Windows 10 harddrive, you will need to use an additional 3rd-party software to make the process seamless.

This HDD is fast and works well. The capacity to space ratio is also nice. I put this in my laptop and it has taken a bit of a beating. It's still holding up.

I got this 2 TB SSD to go with my PS4 Pro. Both for larger storage size and for the faster load times. Compared to the default Hard drive this is a fair bit faster, especially for games that have famously long load times. Glad to see prices for larger SSDs are finally coming down into the affordable range.

I got this to expand and speed up internal storage in my PS4 Pro. works brilliantly. With the rise of NVME SSDs for gaming PCs & next gen consoles this will likely become less relevant in the coming years but might be able to get even better deals on this speedy boy if you aren't an early adopter.
