Great addition for laptop. Fast, plenty of storage

I wanted to install an SSD drive to boot my Windows 10 desktop. After looking at reviews, I went with this Samsung. It comes with software to help migrate your operating system and files from an HHD to this SSD, and it worked as expected. I now boot in less than 60 seconds rather than 3 minutes.

I had issues with my older Lenovo laptop, and I needed to upgrade the hard drive in it. I found this SSD drive and installed it in my Lenovo and transferred what I could save from the old hard drive to the new one. My boot process is substantially faster now and accessing my images and editing have also shown a remarkable boost in speed

I added the 2TB Samsung 860 QVO drive to a system to run insider builds of Windows 10. I'm also using two Samsung NVME SSD's for my main Windows 10 install and while the SATA Solid State Drive is a little slower it's definitely a significant improvement over regular hard drives if that's what you'll be upgrading from.

I had been wanting to try an SSD in my PS4 pro for a long time now. I settled on this one due to brand name and price per terabyte after they matched Amazon prime day price. After installing it, game load times really do seem faster and the the console boot time is significantly better. Definitely worth it.

Since games take a lot of space now days, I spent the money to never run out of space, hopefully. Replaced a spinning 2TB HD and made a big difference in bootup and everything else... Working perfectly so far! Still a little expensive compared to spinners, but decided to bite the bullet...

Installation was easy. I was able to clone my hard drive using separately bought software. The only suggestion I could come up with is to include the cables, screws, and mounting bracket with the drive. I had already paid over 200 dollars for it so for a little more I would of still paid if it included both.

Long-gone are the days of my need to swap my games between my hard drive and my SSD! This SSD packs a punch in such a physically small unit. I can save almost anything of mine on to this thing and be assured that I can access it at very high transfer speeds. Goodbye loading screens!

Great SSD that I've used in two different laptops. I put one in an old Alienware 17 and it felt like new. The change from a mechanical drive to this SSD was startling as everything loaded fast and bootup was almost instantaneous. On my HP Omen 15, it is used for game storage and works extremely well and loads games with ease and speed. The only downside is the software and initial formatting. Samsungs software seems a bit intrusive and can be confusing for use as a second drive and as the boot drive.

Only a month in service. Prior mechanical hard drive failed to boot. This one costs 4 times as much but no moving parts should last much longer. It is noticeably quicker on start up. Best Buy pricing same as online yet local store had in stock which was a life saver.

Replaced the old HD in my PS4 Pro with this SSD. I couldn't believe how much better this drive worked over the original. Load times were cut in half or more. Definitely recommend putting one of these in your PS4 if you're in the market for an upgrade

I have this drive installed in my Dell G3 3590 laptop I also purchased from Best Buy and it works great. It came really fast and it was simple to install. I've had it for a week and a day and have no issues. For those interested it scores like 650-670 on crystal disk.

Of your looking for a large capacity SSD this is a great choice. Performance is great compared to traditional drives and fine compared to other SSD’s.

This Samsung - 860 QVO 2TB drive is considerably faster than my old mechanical HDD. I was unable to migrate Drive C and the operating system from my old drive using the Samsung software but was successful doing it manually. That problem may have been my error.

I replaced my Dell XPS laptop's 1 TB SATA 2.5"HDD with this Samsung QVO 2TB SSD and the laptop's Windows bootup times are noticebally faster. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a large amount of storage and wants to increase the performance of their computer.

Very reasonable price for a solid state. Is way faster than a hdd, obviously not nvme m.2 fast but great for a storage drive!

I already have the Samsung 250 M2 NVME and a 500GB SSD however with newer games room has become an issue. I trust Samsung drives and sure enough this did not let me down. Put it in my desktop and after formatting was recognized and gave me the extra storage I need.

Easy to install and set up. It was the last unit on the shelf the day I was looking for it, but I got it. I was going to use it as a Hard Drive replacement, but then the whole computer failed. I installed into the new computer and increased space by double.
