I use my m.2 drive more than this one, but so far I have had zero problems with it. Its low profile and compact size make it a nice working SSD drive. This is a permanent fixture in a PC - NOT a USB drive.

Samsung Evo 870 pretty much sums it up, I have them in several units. Using this one for a Eufy HomeBase 3 and it rocks. I’m not using it for 24/7 recording so can’t speak on that.

While this can be a bit bulky compared to an M.2 drive, it is a bit cheaper. I bought mine after my old hard drive started failing and I've been pretty happy with it so far. Great if you need a bit of storage but not a massive amount.

Used this as an upgrade for an older laptop, replacing the old 1TB hard drive. I simply cloned the old drive on to this, installed it and everything worked great. The performance is now better than new speeds, and it boots up much quicker.

Replaced the standard old disc drive with this SSD unit at Best Buy. Good service, prompt, and they managed to get all my data from the hard disc that crashed transferred to this one. My PC works great. It is fast and very efficient.

I bought this drive on sale. Purpose was to create a clone of my 500 GB samsung EVO drive in case something went wrong. The software for this 1 TB drive includes the software to clone your original drive to this new drive. The cloning process was quick and painless. I have a 10+ yr old Dell with 16 GB memory running Windows 10. I will add, that, in order to clone my old drive to my new drive, I used a SATA to USB cable: SATA end plugged into my new drive and USB end plugged into my USB port on my computer. The cloning process will not work if you have the new drive connected to your computer via its SATA port: there are very specific instructions that say this.
