    Unreliable.

    I purchased 4 of these to replace 4 850 EVO drives that failed after 5 years of use in a NAS. In less than 3 months, 2 of the 4 have already failed. The 1st one failed a few weeks ago and Samsung sent me a replacement. Inserted the new drive and while the RAID was being rebuilt, a 2nd drive became critical. I now have to have that one replaced as well. I assumed that I could trust these drives after having no problems with the 850 EVOs. Clearly, these aren't reliable to have 2 out of 4 fail in less than 3 months. Will switch to WD RED SSDs in the future.

    Disappointing

    I've owned two of these SSDrives. First one was defective, proven by Geek Squad in store, so they gave me a replacement, same product. The second one is having the same issue as the first one, my HP Omen isn't recognizing the SSD when plugged into the additional storage slot. Don't waste your $ like I did. Buy somethinng else, STAY AWAY!

    it does the good well but idk how it will last in the long run. was a bit confusing to set up since i needed to format it to my pc

    They fail after 2 - 3 years

    I am a computer consultant. In the past few months I have had 3 or 4 go bad that I had installed & cloned for customers about 2 - 3 years ago. I'm really surprised as these have been highly rated (4.8 or 4.9 / 5 stars). They worked fine until one day their PC would not boot. Diagnostics says SSD went bad. I have asked on support forums and other techs say they are seeing them fail as well.

    Samsung Solid State 870EVO 1TB Internal SSD SATA

    The Samsung Solid State Device 1TB unit was recommended by the Total Tech team. I had run out of space on my laptop and this was resolved easily by purchasing this unit. All is good now.

    trustworthy! I used it to replace the hard drive of my iMac 27 inch 2015 and my other iMac 27 inch 2011 and soon I will be buying another one for my Mac Mini 2012

    Only use Samsung ssds have bought 6 all working fine . They use Samsung software transfer of data a snap no third party software.

    I brought in my computer for a failed hard drive. I was told the information would be on the computer after it was fixed. But when i connected it, there were no icons for any information. I downloaded some of the needed programs but couldn't find the information.
