I needed something fairly fast and high capacity for recording off of a security camera. This fit the bill. I usually use M.2 based SSDs, but I was using an older compact PC that didn't have an M.2 slot and this SSD had fairly high marks for reliability among SATA drives.

Laptop was slow, sometimes taking me 30 minutes to get from log-in to loading a webpage. Switching from HDD to SSD fixed the problem, and it’s been working great so far!

My old pc needed more storage than she had come with. This was small and easy to install. It being so thin really helped to find a space for it.

The Samsung 870 EVO SSD is a great device to give your computer or laptop extra years of life. Very fast and reliable. Install the Samsung Magician software to keep tabs on firmware updates and drive performance. I have several computers and all use one type of Samsun SSD or another

I believe I already gave a review of this item. It's a solid state disk drive. It was purchased from installed by Best Buy's Geek Squad. It took longer to install and transfer data from my HDD to this SSD then was projected. It required me to spend 2-3 hours to reinstall programs or to have them recognize this "new" device. What the Geek Squad did not do was increase my RAM. I am very disappointed on the Squad and its inability to receive calls or make calls. The SSD seems to work just fine.

More than 2 years of use and several instances of shock taking other devices inside the system show this drive to be more resilient than other manufacturers. Have replaced the motherboard once as well as having to replace motherboard and power supply once from bad ground at a customer site. Even using a small UPS was not protection enough. Thankfully I did not lose the data though I lost some hardware. Thanks Samsung!

Just replaced my old hard drive for the ssd. My 8 year old pc now boots up really fast. Same with my 1'st gen Intel I7 laptop, with new ssd it works great even with windows 10.

I have been using Samsung SSD drives for a number of years now and they’ve always been great drives. This drive is no exception. I initially, I did a lot of research before deciding to go with Samsung. Being a music producer, I need something that I can trust will hold up and Samsung SSD’s are what chose. Note: Bear in mind that any new SSD drive will be unformatted and you will need to deal with that yourself so do your homework before buying a new drive. If you are replacing your main OS drive, you will need cloning software and a usb cable made specifically to attach your new drive to your computer while cloning the drive in your computer. Free cloning software is available online such as, Macrium Reflect Free, which I’ve used successfully many times. You won’t need cloning software if you are going to use this drive as an additional data drive but you will still have to partition and format the drive using your onboard OS. Google it. It’s easy!

Samsung always has great storage options and this one being on sale is one of the best deals. I've bought a few of these and they always worked and are very fast.

Samsung makes the best SSD drives, in my opinion at least. This is my 3rd. Easy to install. Just have to remember to assign a drive letter to it for it to show up in your PC file directory. Reasonably prices as well and getting cheaper as NMe drives have made this an older technology.

Good size and very easy to use, just plug it in and it's good to go.

Samsung SSD are very reliable, this is my 2nd & I have no issues with it so far.

The Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SATA 2.5" SSD Drive provides a "facelift" to your older PC. The price is affordable, the installation is easy (buy a 2.5" insert for the 3.5" slot), and the performance is great. You notice immediately when booting the PC.

I got this SS drive to put inside of my Akai MPC Live II for more than enough space for my expansion packs & sound banks. It may be overkill storage-wise but it is a fast way to access those sounds on my drum machine. I definitely recommend this and any Samsung SSD.

I use this drive to store all of my music for fl studio, it has yet to fail on me. And really helps with not clogging up my internal SSD.
