FAST! changed out the 1TB disc drive for this SSD, what a difference. It use to take 5 minutes to start my Hp laptop. Now 20 seconds or less. Great upgrade for about a hundred dollars. I heartedly recommend this drive, Fairly easy to clone and change out. Buy yourself a USB cloning kit, install the software, clone the existing drive to the new SSD then your ready to swap. Takes a couple of hours to clone, just be patient, let the do its work, I used EZ Gig, $30. You may want to look for a YouTube video on how to disassemble your Laptop/PC its helpful. It took me about 30 minutes total. Process is fairly easy, look for hidden screws, do not rush or force. Process was so easy I did my wife's Laptop also, won a few points there.

Worked flawlessly. Easy install. Used Samsung magician to clone the drive no problems quick and efficient. Swapped drives and done. Once again Samsung delivers

This works like a charm is you have a laptop that is running slow. This makes your laptop load quickly after start up and experiencing zero lag with multiple windows open at the same time.

Excellent Hard Drive. Save your laptop to external Hard Drive and reload to this one ! 2 of my older model laptops run better than new! Fast !!

Easy to install and super simple to clone. I was able to replace on my computer and the speed increased significantly!

Installation was super easy and this was the perfect upgrade for my older HP Pavilion. The computer is super fast now. I just started fresh and purchased windows 10 and used my old drive as a USB drive to move things I didn’t want to lose!

Bought this as a gift for a ps4 upgrade due to the hdd installed giving out. Noticeably faster everything from starup to game play. Give your console ls some love and upgrade to ssd since the next gen consoles are nowhere in reach at this point.

Awesome drive with awesomer performance. Very fast for what you're receiving. Not many drives perform faster than these Samsungs. I've purchased many of these for work and now ersobal. Never a failure. Never disappointed.

It didnt come with a data cable but i had a spare. Once it was plugged in started right up and I formatted it and its been kicking since.

Swapped my HHD to this SSD and it runs awesome, I upgraded all my devices with this SSD.

Only had issues with one samsung drive in my lifetime which is a completely different story and in reality, a complete fluke. As a tech nerd and graduate in the field I dont use anything other than Samsung drives. With the exception of m.2's like the Samsung 980. Those ill stick with Kingston Fury's. I use these in a RAID configuration, i have 3 in one laptop, 4 in another, 8 in my pc, uhh 6 in my server and 4 in a raid enclosure. Yeah, i got a lot of boxes Highly recommend especially if theyre on sale. Can never have too much storage!

I've bought several of the Samsung SSD's over the years for various computers at home and work, and every one of them works perfectly. I had one laptop that I was ready to throw away because it was so slow. I cloned the drive to this and put it in the laptop, and it was like a new computer. If you have a mechanical hard drive, change to this and maybe add some RAM (at least 8GB if you have a 64-bit OS) and you won't regret it. They are so economical, there's no reason not to get one with lots of capacity so it'll last you for years.

HP tower ONLY 6 months old....Best Buy fixed it by replacinghard solid state drive, was lucky they had in stock AND on sale. Tower because of Best Buy repair, tower is REALLY faster / better then out of the box !!

Changed from HDD to SSD, make the laptop boot faster and swap between programs seamless. I bought it on sale for $60

Easy to install and so worth it to expand storage. Just make sure to get the cable since it dosnt provide it.

I cannot overstate the ease with which I was able to upgrade the 256gb SSD startup drive on my Dell Precision tower running Win10 with this drive and the Samsung Data Migration tool. I downloaded the migration software, shutdown the PC, disconnected the data drive connectors and attached this new drive, rebooted, ran the program, and 40 minutes later the PC shutdown after copying the smaller drive. I replaced the old with the new SSD and it flawlessly rebooted . Stunning.

My computer is in overdrive! Installed Win 10 from vista and this SSD and what a big difference. The boot time is great. Didn’t like the transfer software. Used a drive clone and all is great! Will put SSD’s on all my computers.
