This SSD replaced an older hard drive on my Lenova W560 laptop. The older drive was bricked by a recent Windows 10 Pro 64 update. The new drive is great. Fast. Easy install and configuration. It added new life to the laptop.

I ended up purchasing two of these one for my new Acer Nitro 5laptop as a second larger storage easy to set up. The second as a upgrade on my girlfriends laptop easy to clone old drive using Samsungs own software it has sped up the performance greatly.

Great for extra space. I moved my boot drive to this and it made my older laptop much quicker!

This is a great upgrade for an older computer to speed it up. Time to boot has decreased by ages!

The Samsung 870 EVO 1TB internal SSD SATA has been amazing since installed by Geek Squad. My ASUS vivobook laptop with the original 1TB HDD acted like it was on dial-up and would just load for 5 to 10 minutes before loading the page. Since this SSD has been installed on my laptop, I'm able to use my laptop for school and zoom classes. The speed is exception that this SSD puts out. I highly recommend anyone wanting a faster laptop to switch to this one and remove the original HDD.

These are the best SSD of any that I have tried. I ONLY buy Samsung for my clients. They are fast and breath new life into every computer that used to have a spinning hard drive. I highly recommend them!

If you are using old hard drives still I would recommend upgrading to a solid state drive from Samsung, they are very fast, super quite and usually double the size of your old hard drives.. totally worth the upgrade.

Fast and reliable SSD. The speeds are great for gaming and everyday use. I have not had any issues with Samsung's SSDs. I have several in 2 computers and 1 in a PS3. Light and compact. Excellent deal when its on sale.

Purchased as expansion for eufy homebase 3. Works well. Easy to install. No issues and lots of space.

Nice little drive. Easy to install. May need a separate adapter to mount it in your hard drive bay.

I bought the Samsung drive in order to clone the 256 GB SSD that my system originally came with... purchase included the ability to download software to clone the drive... it turned out my original drive was an M.2 form factor so I ended up buying a 1 TB Samsung M.2 drive and used this as a temporary to clone the original M.2 drive and then as the source to clone onto the new M.2 drive... I then cloned a 500 GB SATA drive in a 12 year old Sony laptop onto this SSD using a Sabrent external and the Sony laptop is usable once again.

Picked this up on sale. Got it to put in my Xbox one x and it works great. Really helped with speeding up my load times vs. the original Hdd.

This SDD was easy to install and was a great price. It does not include the tiny screws needed to mount it to the case, though.

If you can't use an NVME in your PC buil then this is the best SSD drive you can get . Fast and reliable.
