The computer was running slow so I purchased Samsung SSD 870 Evo. The problem appears to have been solved. Thanks to the Geek Squad in explaining in layman's terms.

Decided to purchase the drives to upgrade a client's older laptop, and one for me too, after reading a report on tests conducted for reliability, life, and speed. Samsung came out on top. The drive gave the laptop new life, and now runs faster than when it was new. (Replaced a slow 5400rpm drive) If you choose to upgrade an older computer, be sure to also check what memory is installed, and if minamal, also upgrade that as well. You'll be amazed at the difference the upgrades make!

The drive was in stock, and worked as expected. A very good upgrade from the mechanical hard drive I had before!

Bought this since I already used up my two NVME slots in my pc and it stores large files I need to access. Great performance and slim design.

My laptop was running (or should I say crawling) very slow recently, and was generally not performing as expecting. I got an appointment with the Geek Squad at the Best Buy in Paramus, NJ. When I returned to pick it up, the agent told me that my hard drive was totally used up. He suggested replacing my old hard drive with a larger hard drive. Upon reconnected it at home, the change was amazing. It just zipped along. Thank you Geek Squad

I bought this SSD drive back in 2021, so I've had it for over 2 years now and I've been super happy with it! It was surprisingly easy to install on my PC. I had never installed any hardware on my computer before so this is definitely a beginner friendly operation. I mainly use my computer for data analytics now and so far this drive has been great for processing fairly large amounts of data quickly. Never overheats and hasn't slowed down in the 2 years that I've had it.

This has really changed my laptop speed and now I don't need to connect my external hard drive to save my pictures externally, they are all right at my fingertips!

Great drive. Had a little difficulty cloning the drive. Used the downloaded Samsung software. Had to initiate the drive first, did not see that in the instructions. Tried to clone "C" & "D' at first, got errors indicating it could not complete. Tried 2 different SATA cables. Finally on the 4th attempt it completed with a message saving settings and the software shutdown as was expected. Finally swapped out the SSD with the original HDD and it booted up in 23 seconds, far faster than over 4 minutes on the HDD.

My wife's laptop had gone virtually inoperable, set up an appointment with geek squad who informed me we will check it our and contact you with recommendations. They did so , all the gliches fixed and recommended a new hard drive, a geek squad agent explained the different drives and I chose this one. The laptop is better than when new, faster in all aspects, a good product I recommend it if you need one,and geek squads abilities to analyze and repair are execllent.

Had a hard drive going out so I went out to buy this little guy. It came with transfer software so I was able to migrate what I could over and get it started right up. A great and fast little hard drive.
