Easy install, works with what I needed it for 10/10

When my old mechanical HDD in my Inspiron laptop ceased functioning, I decided to replace it with an SSD. Upon doing research on possible replacements, I decided the Samsung 870 EVO was the best match for me. I am glad I did! My laptop is now superfast. Opening apps, internet browsing, even boot up and shut down are quite notably faster. I am very satisfied with this SSD. The Samsung Magician software available for download also gives some helpful information about the drive.

Samsung has never let me down yet. This is working well as the boot disk on an older computer (no m.2). The installation and operation has been flawless and it is quick, much better boot times.

Great SSD, it was very easy to install however it does not come with any screws required so I had to purchase a hard drive bay mount for it just for the 4 screws needed. Other than that it is perfect.

Has been great since ive bought it. My ps4 pro runs smoothly with this ssd upgrade.

Was able to upgrade my HP laptop without any problems.

If you have an older PC or laptop, installing one of these SSD will breathe new life into your computer. I install a lot of these and they're always reliable and fast!

Wanted to upgrade a 2014 gaming Laptop with a SSD to replace the spinner in the laptop. This fit the bill perfectly! Plenty of space quick, affordable, easy to install.

I love Best Buy. They had the correct SS D Dr. that I needed. I went and installed this SSD drive on my older MacBook Pro and boy oh boy that sucker took off like a jet is so faster I mean it’s so fast that it’s competing with a 2020 models I can’t believe how fast it is, I love it and it brought my MacBook back to life not only that I have one terabyte of space so much space on my MacBook now thank you Best Buy

After hubby's 2016 laptop was hacked and as his admin for laptop, I was unable to fix. Took it to Best Buy who recommended this Samsung - 870 EVO 1 TB Internal SSD SATA which was on sale to replace existing 1 TB hard drive. I was surprised this was a possibility and my hubby is very pleased with the increased speed. Best Buy handled this quickly. Unfortunately they were unable to save any data from his old hard drive.

installed this into an older laptop to replace a slowly-dying HDD drive, and the improvement is stark. It reads and writes a good deal faster, and has really fixed the issues the old laptop was having that an additional stick of RAM was just not enough to make up for. I trust Samsung as a company for drives, so I have high hopes that this will be a stable long-term improvement.

Fast and quiet. Much better than a hard drive. Brevity is a virtue. They made me write more.

reliable line of SSDs from samsung, have had multiple 850 and 860 evo and pro drives with no issues, picked up this one to speed up game load times, has made a world of difference from the old HDD

This saved my ps4, and saved me the cost of getting it fixed at a place that was going to charge me almost full price if when I bought my ps4. I'm assuming from the power outages I was having this past winter season, my original ps4 drive fried and I had to replace it myself to save cost and this has worked like a charm! Once you reformat it, put the newest update on and install it's like brand new and even runs quieter! Definitely recommend.
