Samsung drives do not disappoint in reliability, durability, and speed.

Bought this to upgrade my mechanical hdd. I downloaded magician and the other software to clone drive into ssd One thing it would be nice to know is, when doing this.... the magician software makes you believe it's a counterfeit drive. However, talking with support, they told me windows 10 will not give you accurate information for the drive, connected via usb. Once i cloned drive and installed it worked amazing.

This ssd is such a great update from my old ssd that only had 500gb definitely recommend and very easy to install yourself!

The Samsung software made cloning my hard drive to the SSD simple and worry-free. The instructions for physical installation, cloning and establishing boot sequence were spot on. The SSD dramatically reduced Windows boot time and launching of all software. My old PC feels like a brand new machine. This is the best PC upgrade ever.

this is exactly what was needed, easy to install and made a big difference in the way my computer works.

My wife's computer started acting very strangely. I won't go into all it was doing, but no matter what I did, I could get it to work properly. It wasn't a virus or malware. Took it to Geek Squad. They said a sector on the hard drive might be going bad, and suggested an internal SSD. Had them do the job. The computer works much better and faster.

Worked very for what I needed it for, my grandsons xbox failed and he was not able to use it for a long time, Grandpa to the rescue, added new drive, installed xbox backup and he was off to the races, I mean this machine was so much faster (his words).

Installed this hard drive with no issues. Runs fast

Installed easily. The samsung migration tool worked great and moved all my files off of my old mechanical HDD to this one. It was a little difficult to figure out how to get it to boot. What I ended up having to do was removing the SATA cable from the back of my old HDD and also the power from the old HDD. Connect that SATA cable to your new HDD and you'll boot to it. Things are much more snappy.

To me, who doesn't care about benchmarks and plays openworld singleplayer games, it doesn't seem to have much difference from my EVO 860. It hasn't broken either or any significant speeds or slowdowns. (definitely better than an HDD that's for sure)

This little EVO 870 internal SSD, which I am using as my primary drive really perked up my old computer. I am using my old sata drive, which I relaxed, as an external storage drive. I also increased the RAM, and that made a bigger difference. This is a great drive and J am very satisfied with my having purchased it. I will need to be purchasing 2 more.
