Needed a bigger hard drive, this was it! Easy to install. Made me feel like a dinosaur when I saw how SMALL these are now! We wven bought an enclosure somewhere else for the old one and now its an external HD! Win-win. Glad Best Buy had this in stock for easy pickup.

This product was a godsend. I had two laptops that had hard drives fail and i was able to replace them with this product and was able to reimage and be back up and running in about an hour. I will look to use these to replace the hard drives in the other older laptops in my office.

Works fine. Easy to configure. For anyone looking to use this to download steam games onto and play, steam is not a fan of externals and your games will download and update noticably slower then onto a SSD.

Upgrading from a mechanical drive to an SSD in a 2015 HP laptop. Don't know if it'll work, but it should. I'm cloning disks as I type this and am on the 2nd 1TB now. Will know more when I get done and put the laptop back together. It's either that, or get another laptop.

This is the fourth Samsung SDD I have bought for myself, and I have bought several more for clients. I believe that it is the best available, both by specs and reviews. I recommend installing the Samsung Magician software to monitor and optimize your drive. An SSD is the best way to improve performance, especially on an older computer. Be sure to over-provision your SSD. Over-provisioning improves performance and increases the life of the SSD.

Super simple to set up and transfer my games over. I was having issues with stuttering in FPS games running on a regular HD I downloaded them on this SSD and now they run great. Almost thought of upgrading my pc until I found this fix.

This is an awesome and excellent product for the price and I highly recommend it to people looking to upgrade their storage space. I bought this product for my PS4 and ot works like a charm. I plan on buying the 2TB model fory old laptop and an extra 1TB model just to have as extra storage.
