Super easy to install into my dell laptop (inspiron 5558) - made it feel like a new computer!

My laptop had been giving problems for months. Finally, it got stuck on an update and wouldn't stop saying that I shouldn't turn off my computer. The Geek Squad at Best Buy suggested that I get a clone of my hard drive. I had my computer back in a couple of days, with all my files intact. The computer is working so much better now. I am really pleased and glad that the computer now has this drive instead of the old one.

We're at the point where we know: SSDs are where it's at. This was a valuable yet cheap upgrade to an aging computer that gave it new life from the old platter drive it had. Samsung also offering free migration/cloning options is also invaluable, even for the most un-tech savvy folks out there.

I have chosen this drive model several times to update different laptop PCs, replacing mechanical hard drives. In every case the migration (using Samsung's software from their web site) has gone perfectly, and the speedup has been dramatic. For me, the "plus" is the Samsung software, which creates a bootable replacement drive for me each and every time, on the first try. Highly recommended!

Samsung SSDs are the most reliable and performant on the market. The EVO series is a good middle ground for non-Virtualization workloads and gaming!

I upgraded my brother's PC from HDD to SSD. Everything is so much faster now.

Solid SSD's from a company you can count on. got one for my son and niece to play newer games on and the load times are speedy. Only thing better is a NVMe but if you cant fit one or dont want to spend the money. this is a SOLID option.

This SSD is one of two identical drives that I installed into a new home server. TV recordings will be stored on each so the drives undergo a few adds and deletes daily but nowhere near as frequent as an OS drive. The EVO series have all performed well for me for years so unless they start failing or developing problems I'll continue buying and using them whenever needed.

I bought one for my pc that i just built. Flawless victory. The other to clone my sons pc that had low memory. Works flawlessly now. Samsung software is also helpful and user friendly. I would purchase another one.

The ssd card was very easy and simple to install. I can save files easily and gain access easily and quickly. I have save game file with no problem. I really love it. So I got another one.

Purchased to use in a new system build so far all is well with the drive, since this is used a storage drive I didn't feel that it needed to be an m.2 type of drive, so far all is well after about 4 months (when review was written)
