Being on a cheap budget I've been using a seven year old laptop and those 2.5 inch HDDs just aren't cutting it anymore. A SATA SSD is a no brainer upgrade IMO. Wouldn't call this one the best in the world, but for the price can't complain!

This ssd replaced my hdd in an HP laptop. The performance was greatly improved. The Best Buy geeks installed the new ssd, but were unable to install new memory.

Works great, easily able to pile on with VR games and load quickly

This was the easiest I have ever changed out a boot disk. I did have to used some cables I just happened to have laying around to get it installed but the Samsung software to clone the boot drive to the new drive was simple and flawless.

Adding this as a D Drive on my undersized laptop C drive was my best option. Since it did not require reinstallation of windows and the headaches caused by Microsoft and its inability to restore my operating system and additional software reliably with a simple image.

Reliable and fast for a sata ssd! Solid ssd I would recommend it.

I have an old alienware x51 i keep around primarily for older pc gameing. I upgraded the original hdd after it finally gave out on me. With the samsung ssd installed the thing boots faster than my new Imac. Totally great speed. I recommend this drive for any sata ssd upgrade

Second Time buying one of these. Have this as my primary drive, and just expanded to have some extra space with it now as my secondary as well. First one Ive been using for about three years now, with no problems, huge upgrade from HDD
