Excellent SSD drive that can replace every hard drive with blazing speed. I used a cloning machine so I don’t know about the recommended software used to transfer data, but I can say that this SSD attaches easily to my Sony All-In-One's harness.

After reviewing various SSDs this one seemed to be highly rated. It certainly faster then your normal hard drives

I got two of these SATA SSDs for playing PS4 games on my PS5 and to play previous generation games on my Xbox Series X by using a USB 3.0 SATA enclosure. While Xbox Series X and PS5 games CANNOT BE PLAYED USB drives, OLDER GAMES benefit from the faster loading of this SSD greatly.

Upgraded my 500gb Samsung EVO to this 1TB drive in my Lenovo PC. It was an easy upgrade and is faster than my old drive. I have never had a problem with Samsung SSD drives. Highly recommend!

So, far this Samsung 870 EVO 1TB Internal SSD SATA drive has been working fine. My laptop functions noticeably faster.

I needed to transfer my OS to a new hard drive. The Windows bloat had become too much. It was easy to add this drive and then use the included migration program to move the OS over.

Samsung makes the best SSDs, hands down, this one is no exception. Great speeds, great warranty. Installed it on a client’s 8 year old laptop and gave it a second life, runs extremely fast, great transfer speeds.

This drive is solid and reliable, I now have 3 of them in my PC. Easy to install, just plug and play, and you are up and running.

I have used and have been very pleased with Samsung SSD drives both internal and external. I cloned this drive from my current 860 EVO drive and both worked flawlessly. When you can find the Samsung's on sale, buy one.

these are always on a sale so just wait for them to be under 100 and grab a few. You never know when you'll need more storage so I tend to have a few laying around. They last forever and the quality is incredible

This is my gold standard drive where an M.2 isn't applicable. Cheap, and a massive upgrade for bottlenecked systems. I've bought it recommended at least ten at 512GB or 1TB sizes with no issues in years of usage.
