This hard drive works great. Its very fast. Easy to install.

Wish I installed sooner! To prepare one of my PCs for Win11 and increase storage, I replaced my primary 256gb SSD with this 1TB SSD. Despite both are SSDs, I am stunned by the a difference in boot time and speed. I have found the Samsung brand to be super reliable.

This is a fantastic SSD. It is much faster than your old school HDD, much less noisy, and easier to install in my opinion. In the future, I will likely get a larger memory size as I download many files but for now this one is perfect

Quality drive as usual. I highly recommend the 860 EVO to anyone with an aging laptop that is still running an old school spinner, hhd. It'll be a game changer in the way of performance boost, especially if you have never used a machine with an ssd. If you have an available m.2 port then go for the 970 EVO. It's even faster than the SATA 860! I have purchased several of these over the passed few years and have had great luck with them. I also have several 970 EVO Plus and recently picked up three 870 EVO. Jury is still out on the 870s as I have not installed them yet and benchmarked them should get around to that soon.

Amazing!!!! Works well and saves space and can be transferred to other computers if need be so amazing!!!

Really easy to install and also has a good space for starters

My son-in-law was running out of disk space on his Alienware R4, so I opened his machine when he was working and noted that there was space for up to two additional 2.5 inch form factor internal drives. I have been buying Samsung SSDs for some time now, and when I checked out the specs on the 870 EVO its speed was at or near the SATA interface max so I purchased it as a Christmas gift. It was nice that Best Buy had the device on sale also! I have to also mention that I really appreciate Dell machine construction. I had the drive installed, initialized and validated in less than 15 minutes - without any tools. The son-in-law is quite happy now, especially since he knows he also has additional room to grow his machine if he wishes.

I like Samsung products as I generally find them reliable, and this SSD SATA hard drive is no exception. I had to buy a new drive after a hard drive crash (not a solid state drive). It installed easily, and I was able to reinstall my Windows OS without problems, and my computer now is running great and faster now that my OS is on a solid state drive now. I would recommend.

I've been using variations of this SSD since at least 2014, or 2015 and have never had any issues. Easy install, rarely if EVER have I had corruption or any major problem. Worth every penny!

This is the 4th one of these I have bought and they are faster than advertised as well as very reliable. The 1TB one in particular is a speed demon and great price when considering what you are getting. For the important data I can’t afford to lose, I always use these Samsung SSD’s and have not been let down yet. I am actually getting speeds faster than with some Nvme SSD’s so this is an awesome product. Given the performance with the added ability to easily swap these between different systems, I see no point in getting a hot running Nvme.

Had a problem with my computer working slow due to high storage usage. After talking to geek squad at the college park location, they suggested a high storage memory card. After installation and a tune up, my computer has worked amazingly well up until I cracked my screen. Decided to purchase a new laptop after consideration but yes, the memory card is very good

I have been working on computers for over 20 years and over 10 years is my own business and I love to use these solid state drives to make my clients computers brand new again these solid state drives are just as dependable as Samsung's other SSDs and in all my years I've installed over a hundred of these and not once had a single one of these come back from my experience from one of my peers they also have an easier warranty process to work with than their competitors who has now started making their website even more difficult to navigate versus crucial where you can still get a hold of a human being who speaks English in America by phone number to process a warranty Also on performance tests while sometimes disk drive I'll performs stated statistics although I do not like the price on these has gone up compared to what they used to be I clone a lot of client hard drives and desktops and laptops by SATA to these salt state drives The only problem is getting these fast enough to keep up with my inventory when I need them and I've noticed that they're getting harder and harder to find at the Best buy stores here in Austin Also I have a direct vendor account with Best buy and I buy lots of salt state drives restock in addition to suppliers especially when I have short notice computer repair search and appointments in cloning drives I tend to reach out to Samsung and not get anything whereas I can get with Best buy going to a shop find a representative have them take me to the case where they need the keys unlock get me to solid state drives I need and get me out within a reasonable time again from a performance standpoint I have had nothing but great experiences with these solid state drives exceeding my client's expectations and what they need and the price point on these is far more affordable than some of their competitors again only challenges finding them when I need them

Needed more storage and this fit the bill perfectly. Very fast and quiet drive. Very pleased with purchase.

The Samsung 870 EVO has been rock solid since installation. Migrating my old hard drive over was simple, and now I use that drive for extra storage while keeping the SSD for programs and files that benefit from faster speeds. Performance is excellent — boot times are quick, applications launch instantly, and overall system responsiveness has noticeably improved. The build quality feels reliable, and Samsung’s reputation for durability gives me confidence that this drive will last. For anyone upgrading from a traditional hard drive, this SSD is a fantastic value.

I use this for my imac 2017 and it works great very fast and reliable would definitely recommend this to any body and at a great price

This was exactly what I needed. My computer was running sluggish and as soon as I replaced my drive with this, I noticed an immediate change in performance, and latancy went down.

This new version of the long running Samsung EVO drives has been great so far. There's not much noticeable difference in loading screens between my 970 evo NVME M2 drive and this SATA drive, which while not surprising, makes this seems a bit noticeably faster than my older generation samsung SATA evo drive. The packaging it comes in is decent for pc hardware and the Samsung Magician diagnostic software is useful and pretty well laid out. From what I'm experiencing so far with this drive, and taking the reviews of it into consideration, it's probably the best overall 1tb SATA SSD on the market for the money right now. It's one of the fastest SATA SSDs on the market and should be reliable. It's decently priced. Thumbs up.

This drive was easy to install in my all-in-one PC and I did not run into any problems installing the operating system on it. The drive is fast, it replaced a SATA drive, and now my system is back up and running better than before.

The team installed this new hardrive to my laptop and its now faster and works better than before.
