Fast ssd at an affordable price. I put this is an HP laptop to replace the factory platter drive. Was an immediate improvement. Samsung makes great products. I highly recommend this drive.

Purchased to upgrade an old laptop from HDD to SSD. Upgrade went very smoothly thanks to the Samsung Magician Application. No issues so far with the product and the laptop no powers up in under 2 minutes compared to 15 minutes with HDD. Very pleased with the purchase.

This is a very good drive and fast. Easy to install. I replaced a 1tb Sata drive in a Dell Optiplex AIO 7470. Needed to do that, because I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro. Windows 11 does not work well with Sata drives, It prefers SSD drives

I've been using Samsung SSD's for over 13 years now and they are simply the best if you are looking for reliability, stability, and performance.

Best upgrade your computer can get. It’s not overly expensive and the impact is amazing. I put this in a 4 year old HP Envy x360 during an install of a new CPU fan and heatsink. For a little over a hundred bucks it’s a completely different PC now. FAST! Boots fast and is on par with most gaming machines. And Samsung is among the very best in build quality and performance. I have built many PCs over the years and can say with firm conviction Samsung builds quality. As with anything you will see a bad review here and there. Don’t be fooled. This is as close to guaranteed faultless as it gets.

Good drive, fast and they tend to last for a few years. Dead silent and produces virtually no heat.

SATA SSDs had their day as system drives, but now they are so cheap, it's awesome to use them as storage drives, too. The Samsung EVO lineup matches or exceeds hard drives MTBF ratings, so they are more reliable while also being much faster than mechanical drives. They are still great for upgrading older systems that are hampered by a slow mechanical drive, too. While this won't match a current NVMe drive on performance, it's still pretty fast.

Fit and works perfectly in my original PS4. I got this to replace the OG HDD in the console so it could stop sounding like a Spirit Airlines plane. My PS4 now loads faster and is a lot quieter. My only thing with any SSD is that the prices are too high. I wish they were more affordable and that more electronics already had a reliable SSD inside. Otherwise, no complaints from me.

I bought this for a pretty old computer that was still running an HDD. Great way to give life to an old computer. System runs WAY faster than before and has been given another life.

Easy install. Had a os-dead laptop and startup boot said it was the hdd. Bought this after checking specs and reviews. Got it, double checked size against area in laptop, no issues. Replaced the broken hdd with it. Then booted from usb (windows) and installed fresh onto it. Absolutely smooth transition. Definitely impressed, so went and bought another to replace desktop (still working hdd) just to have the wonderful extra speed (vs a non-ssd).

Has worked for the better part of a decade as the bootup drive and the computer still boots up as fast as the day it was built. No issues, easy to use and generally a great product.

Its a great item. I am not a computer guy but I installed it with the instructions and looking at the connectors. The actual use of it even after downloading the installer was a bit harder. But after a quick google search and following the instructions there it works great and now i have all the space i need and excess.

Bought this for my PS4. So far, very good. It is fast, easy to install and has a TON of space. I made this upgrade instead of chasing a PS5.
