    Upgraded a 2016 era laptop with one of these and a pair of 8gb ddr4 ram modules. Really breathed new life into an aging i5. Should get at least a couple more years out of it.

    At this moment. I purchased due to Pc issues. Boot drive was compromised by new Windows update in Late December and was tired of fighting with it. Decided to do a clean install and needed new drive, this 1 TB fit the bill. No issues, Installed easily and the Windows install went quick. This is my 4th Samsung SSD it replaced the 850 EVO 500 GB that was messed up by Windows Update. I also purchased a 2 TB 870 QVO for my Lightroom Catalog
