Great product very reliable can be used for main or backups and plenty of space.

Easy to install and takes up very little space. You need this run certain games at optimal settings and speed.

Added this to a Eufy Homebase 3 and it seems to be working well. It keeps the temp down.

I prefer Samsung products myself for the reliability. While SSD's are great for the speed. This one cannot be formatted to a NTSF drive and I do not know how to install Windows to a GAT Partition.

This SSD is perfect! It replaced a WD Green 2TB drive that died and I'm happy about how it performs so far. I'm using is in a DAW environment and it rocks.

so far so good.... Bought 2 of these to put into a Virtual Machine host that houses multiple VMs including Database server for the ERP system of an over 100 year old company. They are set up as RAID 1 and split into multiple partitions. performance has been better than expected. All in all a great purchase as far as I am concerned.

Best upgrade or addition you could buy. Highly recommend 10/10.

I bought this to upgrade my C drive from 2 to 4 TB. I had a Samsung 860 EVO 2TB drive and I was able to clone this drive to the new Samsung 870 EVO 4TB model. I used Samsung Data Migration Software to perform the clone process which took about 2 hours. After completion I simply turned the PC off and placed the new drive in the location of the old drive. When I turned by PC back on I now had a new 4tb C drive with double the size of my old one. I am keeping the old 2TB drive in a safe place to keep as a backup in case something happens to my new hard drive. I can now sleep better at nights knowing I have a complete backup clone of my hard drive.

This drive works great for higher end processes such as video editing and special effects. I have two of these now and they are my primary work drives. I am sure I will need to replace them as time goes on, but I have had one for several months now and it is doing great.

These drives have been solid storage solution, I have a few Samsung drives that I have purchased when they are on sale.

A little bit on the pricy side, but the quality and performance is top notch.

Although on the more expensive side, this Samsung SSD is a fantastic choice for any use case. I used this drive to store virtual machines for my home lab, but it would have also been an excellent choice for game storage or even a budget friendly system disk. If you need a reliable 4TB SATA SSD you won't be disapointed with the 870 EVO from Samsung!
