NTSF VS. GAT

While SSD's are great for the speed. This one cannot be formatted to a NTSF drive and I do not know how to install Windows to a GAT Partition.

Samsun SSD - WOW!

Virtual Machine Host Drives

Bought 2 of these to put into a Virtual Machine host that houses multiple VMs including Database server for the ERP system of an over 100 year old company. They are set up as RAID 1 and split into multiple partitions. performance has been better than expected. All in all a great purchase as far as I am concerned.

Great drive to upgrade your old HDD or SSD drive.

I had a Samsung 860 EVO 2TB drive and I was able to clone this drive to the new Samsung 870 EVO 4TB model. I used Samsung Data Migration Software to perform the clone process which took about 2 hours. After completion I simply turned the PC off and placed the new drive in the location of the old drive. When I turned by PC back on I now had a new 4tb C drive with double the size of my old one. I am keeping the old 2TB drive in a safe place to keep as a backup in case something happens to my new hard drive. I can now sleep better at nights knowing I have a complete backup clone of my hard drive.

Great for Video Editing.

I have two of these now and they are my primary work drives. I am sure I will need to replace them as time goes on, but I have had one for several months now and it is doing great.
