Its a samsung, what more can one say? Faster than the 860Evo. Solid. Samsung has never failed on me. 1 John 3:7 Little children, let no one deceive you. When I purchased my Samsung 7 Spin Notebook 5 years ago I had the option of installing an SSD drive and I didn't. What a mistake that was. The original HD was slow with multiple problems through the years and finally died recently. I had this SSD installed and what a difference! Much faster, smooth running and I don't have to defragment and all that gobble-d-gook. Like I said, better late than never.

Solid HDD! I got the 500GB version, and let me tell you, this beats the SanDisk version just because of the included software. It makes it effortless to transfer old data from a previous drive, and simple to install a fresh OS as well. It's a speedy drive, too. My previous Samsung SSD is 7 years old and still runs like new. This one went into a new laptop. I recommend this 100% over other brands!

Great ssd, amazing speeds, I was installing windows and I used a western digital ssd but then it kept giving my storage problems, and then i used this samsung one and it was super easy to install no problems and blazing speeds

Easy to install. I buy the Samsung brand drives because the software it comes with works well to make a backup. It's fast.

I purchased this to upgrade an old laptop I bought in 2014. It had an old creaky mechanical hard drive that was really showing its age. Very slow. I can't say the process of ripping the old laptop apart to install this thing was easy, but I did manage to do it successfully. This drive was a little bit thinner than the existing HDD, so I had to fold up some cardboard to make a spacer for it to fit correctly in the housing. There are more legit ways to do this of course, but I managed to ghetto rig it. Now the old laptop is like brand new. Seriously it feels like a brand new machine. This drive is performing exactly as expected in benchmarks and really breathed new life into my laptop.

Excellent SSD for the money. Samsung has some of the fastest drives and they are known for their reliability. Both make it great for storing home security footage.

This is a good choice for upgrading any middle-aged laptop which only has sata 3 ports from an older HDD as the boot device rather than buying an new laptop and contributing to E-waste. If you wish to clone rather than a clean install, these Samsung SSDs are best since Samsung comes with its own cloning tool software. I do not recommend third party cloning software, personally.

Bought a pc in January and the 250 gb ssd went out within 3 1/2 months. Bought this ssd on sale and was an awesome value. Took me a few hours to get everything up and running as this was my first time ever installing an ssd. Once it was up and running, my computer boots up in 30 seconds. It is so fast and works wonderfully. Thank goodness for tutorials on you tube and my tech friends. This is absolutely an awesome drive. I will always use Samsung dad’s from now on.

The upgrade was simple. It runs well, not very expensive and is a trust worthy brand when it comes to SSD's.

I have been using Samsung Evo's for all of my customers upgrades and replacements. These drives are fast, reliable and so far I have installed 100's. You can definitely trust these for your SSD of choice!

The drive itself is excellent. Samsung Magician software that is to be used to clone hard drives did NOT recognize the new Samsung hard drive or it's unique serial number. It told me "Invalid S/N number," Thinking it might be a fake I sent it back and got another. Both were packaged and sealed as the factory would do it. The second did the same thing. The software never recognized a valid S/N but finally after several hours of trying different techniques and a call to Samsung Support that was futile, it recognized a Samsung drive. It allowed the cloning process. Boo to Samsungs software glitch.

Great product, it helped me expand my memory storage on my Samsung computer. However, my Samsung computer ultimately died and had to toss it out. However, I'm keeping the hard drive for future need.

If you are looking for an SSD for any and particularly gaming, this is the one for you. You will not get a better SSD than this and for such a good price. It was so easy to install as well as having amazing performance to meet your gaming needs!

This Solid State Drive is top notch. It allows for faster start up and shut down. It was easy to instal i to the hard drive caddy and is extremely lightweight. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to replace an older hard drive that could give out at any time. Samsung has never let me down!

Fast and durable, easy to setup. Has definitely lasted and haven’t had any issues. Primarily use it to hold files that require high r/w.
