Great drive but quirky when used externally.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In my case the drive is used as an external boot drive on a 2018 Mac Mini. So there are a few quirks... The drive is slow to power up and must be kept powered 24/7 by an external USB hub or it will not boot - the machine choses the internal drive. And because it is external it doesn't give the kind of bus attached speeds that the internal drive has. But it's very much "good enough" and is my favorite drive to boot this machine. (The internal drive is not upgradable on this model.) It is roughly 1.5 times as fast as another 7200 RPM spinning drive I also have attached and runs absolutely silent of course.
