2TB SSD installed in my Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After Windows update prevented the rebooting of the operating system, and knowing that the existing 1TB Drive in my laptop was at 90% capacity, I decided it was time to expand the storage capacity. I am thrilled with the 2TB SSD not only for the additional space but especially for the speed of the SSD.

Working Great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this drive has been excellent! Easy to install and fast response times. I purchased this brand due to it being a trusted name in the industry. I previously owned another SSD by another company and that one lasted I think at least 5 years, hopefully this one lasts even longer.

Samsung QVO
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This drive worked great. I purchased this over the EVO because of the price at the time. The EVO has a longer warranty period and the price has come down so I would probably go with the EVO if I need another one.

A great drive, fast and reliable
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All of the EVO fan boys will talk about the difference in the type of memory that is use in the QVO drives vs. the EVO drives. Without getting too crazy with the technical details, I will not deny that what they are saying is true - the EVO drives use a higher quality type of memory, but I don't care. For the same price I would take the 2TB 870 QVO over the 2TB 860 EVO any day of the week because the 870 is newer technology. It has the new controller and the read/write speeds are so comparable. For what I use these drives for the warranty length is not an issue. I will never go anywhere near the write limit for the QVO warranty and will have it in service far longer than 5 years. If this drive dies before me or before the SATA technology it relies on becomes obsolete, I will be much more than surprised. For the average user the 870 QVO is totally awesome.

Happy Customer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung SSD drive was easy to install with the free cloning software provided by Samsung. My wife’s laptop seems to boot faster and run more smoothly now. You will need a Sata to usb cord for the cloning process.

Samsung makes the best SSD's
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast, reliable, affordable and temps stay cool. Does not get above 55 C with strenuous writes and still performs exceptionally with over 70% of the drive filled. Samsung is hard to beat when it comes to SSD technology.

Lots of space at a resonable price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking for something to compliment my new i7 which only had a 450gig SSD. Found this on BB and waited for it to come down in price. It did by a little bit so I bought it. Very easy to install. Really, plug and play. With a 2TB raw size that formats down to about 1.8TB. I've not put it through its paces just yet because I'm copying data from my old desktop. My i7 desktop is lightening fast so I'm sure since I'm not a gamer but just an ordinary user, this will work out fine.

Nice fast Samsung quality.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't really know what the heck is going on with my attempts to load Win 10 on a 9 y.o. computer. I thought my old (orig) 2tb Samsung HDD was "going" or otherwise corrupted due to various & misc BSODs. I managed to get it loaded up for a short time and was amazed by the speed increase provided (I assume) by the new SSD. But then even more BSODs ensued. I have a feeling I may not have even needed the new and pricey SSD, but I will find a use for it. I am going to look into adding an inexpensive stand alone PCIex16 (I don't game) as my current integrated graphics card is no longer supported by the manuf. Short version, the new SSD seems VERY fast and I would recommend it if you have the money (I really didn't, but thought upgrading my old, yet solid, system would be cheaper than a new to me computer.)

Excellent secondary SSD
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this for a few weeks now, haven't had any issues. Speeds are plenty for nearly everything. I have 2 1TB m.2 drives and needed a sata SSD for a little extra storage. Great price too

Excellent supplemental drive to my Samsung 970 M2
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using this as my 2nd drive with the Samsung 970 M.2 SSD being my main drive. That being said, this drive is no slouch. I put alot of games on this drive and they load extremely quickly..and lightyears faster than the mechanical drive this replaced. Samsung is a name i trust in most areas especially computer related electronics. They back their products. They are durable. If you have any issues, i have found their customer service teams to be quite responsive. For my usage scenario, this is perfect. Not looking for THE fastest SSD drive, just a very good and sturdy one. Very satisfied with my purchase and the price i paid at the time was very reasonable.

Smooth SSD
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not all that tech savvy when it comes to read/write speeds and all. I only know that it works well and when I use a file or app from this SSD, it loads quick. I mainly use this SSD for all my files and data. My AIO computer came w/ a extra internal drive slot to expand the storage, so I purchased this 2T SSD for that purpose. A year+ later still going strong and 75% full. I guess I need to upgrade to a 4T or 6T!!!

Great little drive for games and rendering
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little drive for games and rendering This is a SATA drive, not an NVMe drive, so it will not go as fast as the new PCIe -4 drives can get. None the less, it is pleanty fast enough for running games, and rendering video to. More importantly the 2 TB size allows for a lot of storage at a much lower cost than the NVMe drives. This is also a great replacement drive for laptops with spinning disk hard drives in them. It is both faster and tends to run cooler than those types of drives.

Put your PC games and videos on this not external
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you need constant access to your your date via reading, writing, and transferring then you will need a SSD drive rather than a HDD drive. This SSD drive is fast but it is way slower than a M.2 but keep in mind it is way cheaper also. This SSD is fast enough for great read and write speeds and is connected internally to your computer which makes it even faster than an external SSD. I highly recommend Samsung and the price is great too.

A great drive for a great price
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this almost a year ago and is still chugging along strong. I use the drive for gaming and the 2tb is plenty enough for a bunch of games. I bought it last year for $200 and now with it being half off is a no brainer for a cheap high capacity drive with premium quality.

I'm in love!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little guy is incredible. My speeds are so fast. For really large games, the longest I have to wait is an hour while still using my pc for whatever else I feel like. I plan on upgrading to ones with more storage. I only have SSD's for my pc right now and I don't regret it whatsoever. On my old laptop, it would take forever for something as simple as Minecraft to download. With this, most things download in a matter of minutes.
