I had to find third party software to do this. It took all day. After that was done the drive ran great and was much faster than the sata drive it was replacing.

When he opened it for Christmas he was extremely happy and said all of his friends were going to be jealous. The title words were what he told me when I said they asked for a review... "works great, love it". He has been very happy with it. Purchased it on sale which made it even better!
