Honestly where can you go wrong with this? Instillation super easy the 2 TB is so convenient and honestly perfect for any pc build as long as the motherboard has a spot for it

This drive will increase startup and shutdown of a windows computer noticeably. Searches, large files etc. anything requiring reads and writes if the disk happen faster. It installed quickly. I used the Samsung data migration tool, lost no data or applications . Will buy one for each of the other computers in the house.

Great SSD - I was originally going to get a larger external HD for my games since I have a 1Tb one that works just fine. Employee recommended I just buy an internal SSD and I don’t regret it one bit. Super easy to install and set up. Super quick performance.

More storage and speed that you need to get the job done. I purchased two ssd's and I probably will not have to upgrade hard drives for quite awhile. I only wish the cost was alittle lower and the capacity was at least 4tb. The sequential speeds are write on par for gaming and workstion activities.

my backup hdd drive failed and this did the job faster, perfectly, and at a price that wasn't too bad.

Great value for so much storage! These Samsung drives are really a great deal, it's a solid buy. The build quality feels really solid and aesthetically it looks better than a lot of its contemporaries. The installation process was easy and quick, as I'd expect from any SSD.

Got this on sale for $180 and it was a perfect fit for my PS4 Pro, the Playstation boot is so much faster, the menu is so much smoother than before and the games installed in the hard drive load within seconds. My estimate is that the PS4 Pro is not 60% faster.

A fact about hard drives is, that they will fail. It is just a question of time. I have been using samsung solid state drives for 5 years and i have not had one fail. Out of 25-30 drives. Buy this drive if you do not want to spend extra hours reloading

So glad I bought this. Was easy to put in no issues setting up on my pc my gaming desktop regonized the ssd right away and I was able to name it whatever I wanted. I have 2 ssds now I keep all the games I run the most on this one. And I haven't even hit max storage.

It was a great buy, plug and play feature. It immediately was set up by my desktop. It is lightweight and a great size for its wonderful feature, It is easy to use and practical. You can transport it in your pocket with ease. It helped me open up space in my desktop.

I bought 2 Samsung 870 2TB to install in my desktop computer. I also ordered the Star Tech- Dual 2.5" to 3.5" HDD Bracket - silver (Model: BRACKET25X2 SKU: 4568603). This was great because the Star Tech adapter included power and Sata cables for both hard drives. Installation was a snap. Had to go through a windows process to initialize the drives that took about 15 minutes to figure out. I still had original box with computer that had the screws that I needed to attach drives to bracket. Screws did not come with either bracket or hard drives. I am using these drive as for photograph and video database using Lightroom Classic. In the past, I was using a 1TB external Samsung T5 drive. The speed increase from the external SSD hard drive is very noticeable. Speeds of 130MB/second are achieved on average when passing files from one drive to he other. Very happy with the results.

I bought the SSD to replace my 1TB hard drive. I am very impressed with the increase in speed and performance going from a HDD to an SSD. I recommend it if you would like better performance. I got mine on sale and I am very pleased.

Back up drive in my Desktop went bad. This SSD was reasonably priced and gives me twice the space. Samsung makes the best SSD

Great drive for laptops and desktops in a single drive setup and will be great for 95% of users. For advanced setups, it does not work well for spanned volumes with mixed drives. Exact drives in spanned volume setups works better.

Internal hard drive was acting up on an otherwise perfectly good i7 computer, so I decided to upgrade the computer to an internal SSD before things went south. Since the 2T was only about $75 more than the 1T, I decided to go with it (you can never have too much storage space). Not the cheapest, but the quality name is well worth the money. Best Buy Geek Squad did the install and transferred the info from my old hard drive to make the new 2T the startup drive and the old one the backup. Works like a champ and has decreased the startup time dramatically. After all is said and done, I'm a happy camper. Highly recommended.

Its a SSD with a Sata that fits in a laptop. Got it for my Acer Nitro 5 since it didn't come with a lot of memory and haven't had any complaints so far. Got enough space for my entire steam library with plenty of space to spare.
