My laptop came with 120gb and it filled quick. Getting this card was amazing. Easy install and I ignored the MSI warranty because the laptop is great anyway. This way I had a clean window install with not bots and junk. High speed card. My Adobe Premier Pro CC is rendering and running great. I have the MSI with GTX1070 from Best Buy

I got this as the storage for my rebuilt desktop PC, and it works great. It's incredibly fast. I mean, once I had the PC rebuilt, it boots up incredibly fast—much faster than the previous SATA RAID SSDs I had set up, and those were quite fast. Definitely a great drive for a newer PC that offers the connection for this type of drive.

I will say this for Samsung they are the boss when it comes to software. It installed really easy and then I used the Data Migration software to clone my C Drive with Windows 7 over to the 970 , it took about 25 minutes and booted up straight away without even needing to touch boot manager.

Samsung's 970 EVO is insanely fast. This is the future of performance drive storage. It's just vitally important that you verify that the application will support NVMe; otherwise you will not have the speed advertised. Not every M.2 size connection is NVMe. Be sure to confirm this on your machine before buying.

I love this drive. This thing gives me blazing fast speeds on my gaming laptop, which I use for mining. I would never game with a gaming computer. That makes too much sense. Seriously though, this thing makes my boot time practically a second and I don't wait for anything. Seriously. ANYTHING. Buy it.

Put this in an old laptop that i was wanting to toss out. i am glad i diddnt. this drive made that old laptop SCREAM! it boots to desktop in under 15 seconds. it used to take almost 5 minuts. its samsung so you know its a great item. if you have the port in your device. this is a MUST!!!

I purchased this memory due to running low on my initial ssd. Not wanting to have to tear apart my whole PC, the NVMe ssd was perfect because I just had to screw it onto the motherboard. Easy to install, works great, Samsung is a quality memory maker.

Best word for it is Fast!! I'll say this I have my bios load screen on a 3 sec delay when it goes away Im in Win10. bam. Games seem to run much smoother. Easy to install on my mobo, Samsung software (downloaded) makes it simple to copy existing drive to the new one and done.

Bought this NVMe drive and a larger SSD for a new PC build. I wanted to ensure I'd have fast boot and read/write times. This drive definitely delivers. Added bonus--the M.2 NVMe is super clean install since it installs directly on the motherboard with no wires needed.

after never having experienced these types of drives, or ssds in general... this thing is completely insane! my computer boots up immediately within seconds, and as soon as I log in everything is ready to go... I'm completely blown away.. would recommend to anyone!!!

This SSD is shockingly fast in my home-made system (working with an i7-9700 processor and 16 GB of RAM). It took me a moment to find the M.2 slot because I'm new to this, but that's been my only complaint, and it's obviously not Samsung's fault. I use this as my primary drive and Windows boots from it in under a second. My desktop is insanely fast and responsive, and my files open very quickly. I have five apps running right now and PowerPoint opened in less than a second. I don't ever have to worry about the fact that I'm running four backup programs—Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive for both personal and business accounts—in the background. I've had to work around that in other systems, even a laptop with a 1 TB Samsung 960 EVO SSD. I've never had any problems with this drive's drivers either. I would highly recommend it.

Easy set up. Moved OS and long loading programs such as solid works to this drive. Very fast. Will not go back to just a solid state drive. Next computer build will definitely have a motherboard that supports this drive. Samsung did an excellent job with this.

Using this drive as a pagefile / swap drive to extend my system virtual memory. I am now able to load into memory datasets hundreds of gigabytes large. I also use it to have offline fast copies of network drive directories. Wait for 130$ or less.

Did you grow up playing need for speed and burnout? Does having a file take longer than 2 seconds to open bug you? Then buy this ssd and never look back. Once installed my PC boots in 3 seconds flat. Cannot recommend this enough.

This is by far the fastest SSD I have used. I installed it in the M.2 slot in my Alienware Aurora R7 desktop and it transformed the computer into a whole new machine. Read speeds clock at over 3,000 MB/s. Amazing! Highly recommended.

Purchased for a gaming laptop, super fast SSD flash memory, I ran multiple read/write tests and it blows everything else out the water! The OS also now boots up in seconds, highly recommend!

Bought a laptop from Best Buy, everything was perfect but the sluggish Hard Drive that came with it. Popped one of these in, changed it as my boot drive and instantly saw results. Instantly boots up and the speed is unparalleled!

The Samsung NVMe's are beastly. Don't get me wrong, other m.2's are decent but the EVO's take the win. Accessing my files and writing data is quite fast. I have no absolutely complaints, no fails and honestly quite happy.

I used this for my OS. It's super fast and my PC boots up even faster than it did with a normal SSD. Why didn't it come with a screw? Good thing I found the one that came with my motherboard, but come on!

My laptop boots in 4 seconds or less now. The only con is that this drive gets really hot and you can feel the heat from this under the laptop more so then from the processor and there is no cooling system for it.
