This blazing fast SSD rocks. Paired up with my ASUS motherboard, now the system boots to MS Windows 10 under 5 seconds. Highly recommend it.

great price on this , i bought two of them at 500 gigs each, they were out of the one terabyte stick so i bought 2 of these instead.

Speeds are great and the thing just works. I was contemplating for a while whether to get this or the pro version but this won out due to price. And honestly, I don't regret it. Few applications make meaningful use of the full capabilities of this nvme as is. Load up a game or a multimedia editing program 3-6 seconds faster? Yeah, I don't think that's for me. I rather just leave those things running if I'm using them heavily and buy more ram with the savings.

good fast ssd drive, easy to install. a little more expensive than the other brands but worth it.

Was using an HDD before I switched to this bad boy, now all my games and programs load way faster. Love the boot time as well!!

Love it but needed more storage haha! Still worked flawlessly whilst I used it, no lag and fast saves.

I upgraded a Samsung 860 SATA 3 based drive with the 970 EVO 500GB. Boot time improved by a factor of 3. Instead of a 30 second boot, it was now 10 seconds. The 970 EVO would also be a great fit for an NVMe laptop. My ONLY regret is that I should have bought a larger capacity like a 1TB because I have a big system. This drive went into a tower system running with 22TB of storage of which all but 2.5 TB are the traditional Server HDD, the rest were SSD but SATA 3.

I handed it to my computer technician to install and he was surprised how easy and quick it was to install. The computer has stopped crashing because I use a lot with simultaneous screens, giving more speed to my machine. The memory left him starting faster and made me less angry :

I bought a new HP laptop but the 128 GB SD HD that came with it just wasn't enough. I ordered the 500 and had Best Buy install it before I took it home. What a difference it makes over my old 320 GB 7200 RPM SATA HD. To be fair that was in another computer so it is really comparing apples to oranges. Still, I find my files a whole lot faster than I used to. I do mostly word, excel and PowerPoint but not heavy on videos so 500 GB is enough for me.

Compared to my old SATA SSD, this drive moves my data along blazing fast. It was an easy install.

With the right motherboard, you can now lose some cables in your PC build! I was able to install 2 M.2 drives and now no longer need to have a cable to connect to a internal SSD/HDD. The speed is very good when it comes to unzipping files, however, the differences between NVMe SSD vs standard SSD is very minimal when it comes to boot and other applications. If you want fast speed and less cables in your tower, make sure to pick theses up!
