Upgraded from a sata ssd and the speed increase has blown mind. Excellent performance for the price!

I bought the 500gb 970 EVO to replace a 240gb Sata SSD as my boot drive. It’s worth every penny. Samsung made the process super smooth with their migration software on the website. 3550 R/2504 W for my results. If you need the speed because it effects your work/business then you can buy faster...but if you’re more casual then it’s all you will need for years to come. Glad I pulled the trigger.

The Pro version is faster, but this M.2 drive works VERY well in my Win 10 desktop. Boot up to desktop is very fast, and the feel of this M.2 drive is quite responsive. I recommend this M.2 drive as a general purpose (and fast) primary boot and application drive.

I upgraded from a SATA II ssd and I must say this was definitely worth it! Easy install and fast!

I've owned some very impressive hardware in my day and this ranks right up there at the top of the list. Anyone running any version of Windows (7 or higher) should not be without one of these cards. I'm currently running Windows 10 and must say, it makes a world of a difference in my MS Windows experience. One bit of advise, ensure you buy no less than the 256G version so that your office suite is installed as well. WOW..

I upgraded from the 960 EVO 250gb Solid State Drive. I was very pleased with that. This one does even better. It reads and writes to specifications. Response times are quick and smooth on my system. Wish they were cheaper. Like most, I use it primarily for my Operating system and store most other data on regular hard drives. Highly recommend.

My i7 8th generation laptop came with an HDD. It used to take about 5 minutes to turn on and load everything on Windows 10. I was considering returning it, and then I found out my laptop had a pcie nvme slot, so I decided to install this Samsung SSD. Boot time went down to 8 seconds. It is incredible, no regrets. If you need a pcie 4th gen, wait for the 980 pro.

I purchased a laptop for my mother-in-law and intentionally did not order a Solid State Drive since the upgrade was super expensive. Instead I let it come with a regular 7200 RPM 1 TB HDD and bought this bad boy. Super easy to install since the laptop just had an M.2 slot. Super fast, no issues. Saved $150 buying this and installing it myself instead of upgrading the laptop during the purchase.

My new laptop has only one m.2 slot and it had a 250GB drive in it already. But of course even with an external 4TB drive you need more internal. So I splurged and got this. It took a lot of fiddling to get a backup on a large enough flash drive but the install and re-installing of Windows 10 from a backup was far easier than tearing into the laptop itself. Worth it!

I went from the Samsung 950 Pro M.2 to this 970 EVO and there is a significant speed increase. Keep in mind to get the speeds this drive can put out(3,400MB/s Seq. Read and 2,500MB/s Seq. Write) you will need a PCI Express 3.0 x4 bus. My motherboard has the PCI Express 3.0 x3 and speeds are up to 3,000MB/s Seq. Read, so it's still worth it on my bus.

This drive is the best, speeds up your system and adds great storage.
