Bought this as secondary storage for a mini desktop that I was building. The computer itself doesn't allow for an m.2 drive to serve as boot, but it does allow for secondary storage. I set this drive to host my user profile, as well as all other application data. It's quick, noticeably quicker than a SATA SSD. Would definitely purchase again if I ever needed.

I love this thing. It's fast and reliable. Check your motherboard, but most computers that were purchased within the last 2-3 years have an empty M.2 slot if they didn't come with a SSD. It's as simple as taking off the cover, popping it in, and reinstalling windows to the new drive.

This SSD is simply, a beast of its own. Coming from a user that used a 860 evo SSD, the upgrade is ridiculous. The read and write speeds gain is out of this world for me, really glad I got this on sale yesterday, bear in mind your motherboard of your desktop/laptop must support the form factor and ensure you have the mounting nail for the ssd strip.

I bought my HP and the drive that came with it was slow and the drive fried, so I took it to the Geek Squad at best buy and they recommended this new drive. I was so impressed with the fast drive my system used to take 1.5 min to start but now it starts in less than 10 sec. wow THX Geek Squad and Best Buy for taking care of me and my computer,

I got this during Black Friday for a very good price. The speeds are amazing and there as fast as my computer can handle. I only install the most demanding applications on this drive to take advantage of its incredible read and write speeds. If spending a couple extra bucks for faster speeds is an option for you I highly suggest this drive.

This installs on compatible motherboards quickly and easily. It comes with the screws you need and pops in just like a stick of memory. Now my computer boots up in less than 10 seconds. I was impressed. Samsung seems to be the gold standard according to other users/reviews so when I saw this on sale I jumped at the chance.

This drive is amazing. Incredibly easy to install if you have your motherboard documentation. Mine required removing my video card first to install it. Also required samsung software to copy over all files to be the primary drive and to initialize it. Total process for installation to be up and running was less ram 1 hour.

Amazing consistency and blazing read/write speeds make this Samsung's best NVME SSD yet. Not a huge difference from the 960 evos but still... you get pro quality for the a very decent price.

Upgrading from a Sata Samsung EVO860 and i have to say, it's way faster, system boots about 1-2 seconds faster (i know why upgrade for a few seconds?) large file transfers makes a huge benefit to have this drive over my old ssd. I love it and you will too!

Picked this SSD M.2 for my game rig build and this is a must for anyone building or upgrading a system. Loaded my Windows 10 to this drive and it is extremely fast read and write. Plus it looks amazing with the black card on a black motherboard!!! Overall A great buy and in my eyes a must have!!!!

I got this to replace an SSD drive. The SSD was working well but I wanted the fastest speed by x99-A board could provide. I did a fresh install of windows then checked the transfer speeds and compared to my SSD. What a fantastic difference. If your board supports this drive its a great device.

If you are on the fence about nvme i can tell you its worth it. This thing is smoking fast compared to any sata ssd. Honestly, there really isn't any comparison. Its a must buy if your mobo supports it. Make sure to read up on the setup, there are conditions that need to be met.

Added this as a pcie board add in... my bio is too old, so I can't boot from this drive, but I've put all my data on it and have seen an incredible boost in speed for programs loading and unloading. All it all I am very happy with this chip and the speed enhancement it has provided.
