Solid SSD
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great SSD. I've used Samsung SSDs in all my laptops, desktops and even servers! I also recommend Samsung SSDs to my family when they're seeking a new hard drive. I haven't had any issues with the brand regarding storage in the past few years I've been using them and speeds are fast. Dislikes: None that I can think of Likes: Software is good, good price, performance is on par, no issues with installing. Plug and play

Very pleased with the speed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So glad I bought the 970 Evo Plus 1TB for my system. This is so much faster than my SATA SSD. If you are a gamer or you otherwise work with large files sizes or many files (audio/video/photo/etc) you will notice the difference from other types of hard drives to this storage option. Make sure you have the mounting screw that came with your system (motherboard) as these types of storage don't come with a screw as it may be mobo specific.

Lightning fast
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I migrated from a SATA SSD to this M.2 SSD and all I can say is WOW. This thing is crazy fast. Even using a PCIe adapter (because I was too lazy to pull my computer apart to access the M.2 port) I can tell a major upgrade in speed. The fact that it is a terabyte of disk space over my old 256gb SATA SSD is also a huge benefit. Cloning my existing OS drive was a snap using Samsung's Magician tool.

Super Fast. Super Reliable.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Samsung SSDs are simply the best combination of speed and reliability. FYI: The 970 EVO Plus *may* require a drive, available from Samsung to work correctly. The regular EVO drives do not require drivers, in most instances. The Plus version is a special version. If an adapter is required for use, the Plus version may not work. For example, this drive is seen in a 2013 MacBook Air (with adapter) but does not boot.

Reliable and Stellar Performance
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB is a top-tier NVMe SSD that offers stellar performance, reliability, and a suite of features for enthusiasts and professionals. While it's an excellent choice for those seeking top-notch performance, it may be overpriced for users with modest storage needs or those not requiring its peak performance. If you're in the market for an SSD that offers a balance of speed and reliability, it's a solid pick. However, budget-conscious consumers might want to explore other options that offer good performance at a lower price point.

A total upgrade
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing upgrade from any ssd or hdd, it loads up my OS in seconds and has plenty of space for games. Anything you save on this drive will have crazy load speeds like game cut scenes. I have 2 nvme slots on my mother board and the other drive is a 500gb WD nvme drive and the speed of the 970 evo is noticeably higher than the wb blue. I had to move over my OS with the samsung magician software that works amazing with this drive.

Well worth the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply put, this is one of the best M.2 SSD's available today. If you're a gamer, you will notice just how quickly you load into any game you play. I can't stress this enough; I did not know just how much of a difference paying for a premium SSD would make and I am so glad I made this purchase. I am going to buy a second one of the same model just because of how good this one was.

Does the job and super fast
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm using this in my first PC build as by primary boot drive, and it's where I store any game I'm currently playing. At minimum I think if you're a gamer you want at least 1TB, because games are just so massive these days. Everything fires up incredibly fast. You might be being paying a premium for the Samsung name, but this does seem to be one of the most reputable NVMe M.2 SSDs on the market. I might look at purchasing a second one later this year.

Super fast
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your motherboard supports PCIe 3.0x4 M.2 SSDs, this is the one for you.I'm running it on an ASUS Prime H370M=PLUS Motherboard. Previously, I'd been booting from a Samsung 860 SSD (SATA 3 connection) which was hardly slow. But since (according to the tests I did) this runs about six times faster, everything is super fast. Samsung has software to download to measure speed and clone your old drive. But it works only with Samsung products.

Easiest Drive install ever!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was really easy to install. Just snap it into the M.2 slot (provided you motherboard has one ... or two), and secure it with a small screw (not provided). The Samsung migration software was easy to use as well, and I migrated the Windows 10 operating system and programs from another drive, allowing me to use the old drive for storage. The EVO Plus is fast. Diagnostic software showed that it performs as advertised.

One of the Fastest SSDs out there!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to replace a Samsung 960 Pro. Or I guess I should say add to it since I am still using that SSD in my system. These Samsung SSDs are awesome and are constantly on the high end of all the reviews out there for performance. I use this for gaming and work and it is so fast. I am thinking about getting another so I can play with some M.2 RAID options or even VROC. I installed and it is instantly recognized in my system and works perfectly.
