So simple to install and amazing Speed. My PC seems to bootup instantly. Great purchase and recommended.

I bought this generation NVME drive to max out the bus on a recently purchased HP Omen 25L gaming PC. The OEM Kingston 512GB drive was not slow but it wasn't designed to run at the max speed the PCIe bus could support. The 1TB Samsung EVO 970 was installed and I followed that up with testing using Crystal Disk Mark which turned in results of 3500+ MB/s Read and Write. As an appreciable example: From pressing the computer's power button to loaded up in Windows 11 is about 8 seconds with the Samsung. The Kingston was about 12 seconds. Regular use of the system feels a little snappier but where it really shines is in launching massive, modern games.

Well, it is what it offers, and it’s performance has been good thus far. If you’re looking for an affordable SSD with enough space to get by (smaller games/files… not recommended if you play games like GTA, Ark, etc. get a 2TB+ if you play huge games)! It’s been a great investment for myself as I have external hard drives as well and this just helped for internal space.

Amazing addition to my gaming rig! Was able to download and keep all my favorite games, versus having to uninstall and reinstall because of space concerns! Just make sure to have the right size screw!

I needed a drive for a DIY computer build, and saw this one at Best Buy. I really had no idea which one I needed; however in looking at overall performance and price range, I took a chance on this one. I am so happy with this drive - super easy installation, and really fast I/O. This one is my boot and apps drive, and I have other ones for data, pictures, music, etc. While this isn't the cheapest drive, it is well worth it.

Dell G7 7700 RTX 2070 Max Performance. 4x the read and write compared to the SSD that came with my laptop. I use it for video games. CoD Warzone, Diablo, No Mans Sky... very fast startups. Seamless transition from game to other applications using Alt Tab. Uses Samsung Magician software that has a lot of features to optimize your computer. Easy to use! I love the optimize features.

I bought this for my sons HP ome. gaming laptop. Went from being unusable due to lack of speed to being a powerhouse budget gaming laptop. Its incredible the price I paid as well. A must for any gaming computer.

I use the M.2 SSD as my main boot option for my personal computer. It is quick when starting up and has shown me no issues since I bought it. I highly recommend this product for its price and reliability!

With better performance, efficiency, and lower MSRPs, Samsung’s 970 EVO Plus is a big "plus" in almost every way over its predecessor. It rivals its bigger brother, the 970 PRO, and comes with a complete software suite, making the Samsung 970 EVO Plus a great buy.

As an IT professional, I love Samsung SSDs. I've used at least 18 different brands of SSD, and while half of them have been Samsung, I've never had a Samsung fail on me yet. They are the fastest SSD in their class, which is on of the reasons I use them so much more than anything else, but they are also just so reliable. I highly recommend this or any other Samsung SSD!

This was my first experience building a PC and at first I was going to roll with an 860 evo like I have in my laptop, but decided in the end to go with this one. I'm glad I did the speed on this drive is ridiculous and makes my laptop feel slow. The M.2 form factor of this drive is also nice as it was super easy to attach to my motherboard, and I didn't have to deal with cable managing more wires.

Exceptional hard drive, I have had 3 of these total, all of them still in use. My desktop uses one of these as a boot drive, as does one of my laptops. My other laptop uses one as a storage drive. They provide excellent speed and sufficient storage.

The Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD is an excellent choice for anyone looking to upgrade their computer's storage. This SSD is incredibly fast and reliable, making it a great choice for demanding applications like gaming and video editing.

This things works great and the speed is super fast. It pluged and play. All i had to do was ad volume and allocate the drive to recognize it. Ive bought a 1tb crucial nvme pci before this one and no matter what i did it could not recognize. I was hesitant about this one too but when i pluged it in it worked like a charm.

This Samsung 970 EVO SSD is excellent. I will certainly buy several more because they are so stable and will allow you to move through your work in a timely manner. It is easy to install, anyone can do it and is immediately recognized for your system. You could not go wrong with this SSD or buying it at Best Buy! Excellent experience!

I had to upgrade my “secondary storage” to 1TB. There were some tweaks to consider before installing new M.2 SSD because my pc has one single slot that can accommodate the physical size of 970 Evo plus. The second M.2 slot is occupied by WiFi/Bluetooth module. Benchmarks look good but the drive temperature while writing/reading can reach up to 60 degrees Celsius with no effect on performance.

Blazing fast speeds on my Asus z170i gaming motherboard. Cloned my old drive using ghost, but had some slight issues with it being MBR partition. It needed to be converted to got prior to cloning. Also, the drive does get very hot, especially if the m.2 slot is behind the motherboard where there is minimal air circulating. Be sure to buy a cooling kit. Aside from that I'm very happy.

What more can be said about Samsung's NVMe drives other than you're getting a great reliable product that delivers exactly what you'd expect the performance labeled on the box, if you're not using an SSD in you're current setup this is definitely a recommendation that you should not skip out on go ahead and upgrade today you'll thank me later.
